Chapter 11 - Chapter Ten. Would He?

Who knew months would pass in a blur as Kenshin trained with Hiko not just in his dojo that seemed to be falling apart little by little with the unserious minded people he kept enrolling.

Kenshin decided to step out from the comfort of the dojo and house today after eight months inside training his muscles out. Who knew a fourteen year old kid would leave for Tokyo without any money and help bi here he was standing at the bridge of a small pond.

He watched how people left to their business and lives and the only thing on his head was revenge on his family. He swore to himself he would only start a life if he would have any remaining after he was going to go after his family's murderers.

He sighed and his eyes wandered far away inside the street at the end of the bridge after a walk away. People gathered, left for him he would gladly leave for the dojo but people began retreating, more like blood starting spilling and he walked to it.

Walking he knew he had to run to the scene. He sprinted away and came in contact with a teenage guy fighting a police officer and he stepped back. Police officers were off limits on his mission but he won't blink an eye in killing anyone that would stop him.

"You have to die. You piece of shits" the teenage guy cursed, hitting the police repeatedly whilst he struggled underneath him breathing hard and people watched as he saw them only bulging their eyes and gasping like it was some horror shows at the district theatre.

"You—"

"Hey you stop there" a police officer cut him off with some others tailing him at his back, their hands on their pistol by their waist and on their cap running to the fight and he moved away from the fight and crowd, retreating back to his bridge.

He watched how they tried arresting the teenage guy but he ran away and some few other policemen that had come later chased him from their way to the scene and the few remaining ones tended to the almost dead policemen. Who knew a beating could take them? He shook his head and left.

The way from the bridge to the dojo though he wasn't fond of the road, he could find his way to his but he was pushed to the ground by someone who…

"Shhh bend, if they pass tell them I went the other way"

Kenshin stared at the stranger like he was one of the murderers of his family only the guy hissed when the said police passed and asked Kenshin as expected if they had seen their suspect and he shook his head pointing his hand to the other road.

The teenage guy came out gasping like he was coming from a marathon. Well that wasn't much of a marathon, more like an escape which turned out wrong and he saw him stand up on his feet, his brow cocked at the way he was gaping.

"What? Got something wrong huh?" And there was no answer, he shifted on his leg "should have told them you saw me and not behave this weird hey ohh shit" he dusted himself and tried leaving but Kenshin blocked him.

"What now? Bailing me away already?"

"No"

"Then?"

"Would you like to train with me at the dojo down there" his head nodded towards the dojo in sight and the laughed shaking his head before saying "nah not into swordsmanship"

"Why?"

"Best kept a secret." His face turned stoic as he said "I wouldn't want to reduce Tokyo's population by killing everyone with my brutality and anger at the world and government." He left rurouni as he mulled over what he said.

Rurouni left for the dojo and met with hiko at the steps with sticks by his side on seeing rurouni he threw the one of them "training now kid"

While they took their position and started fighting Hiko continuously beat rurouni without any retaliation like he was drained. He knew something had happened where he was coming back and he threw the last hit on him before keeping the stick.

"You're going to tell me what happened?"

He sat down picking the cup of water and gulping it down before swiping his mouth standing up to scoot down at rurouni "hmm?"

Kenshin sighed before standing up to go sit down "I met a boy just like me who was almost beaten by the police today"

Hiko twisted his lips thinking before asking "what did he do?"

"Or what did they do to him that had him fighting with the police?. He was melting out justice. I don't know what happened to him or what had him so aggressive but I don't know"

Biko sat down with him looking up to the sky with the sun setting down "not everyone's life was as good as yours while growing up"

"But I never had a better family," Kenshin argued interrupting but Hiko cut him off smacking him on the head. "You knew your family and had a time with them, not everyone had that you see? Always be grateful for the little you had." He ruffled Kenshin's head.

"Be grateful kid"

"I am," he whispered. He wasn't even able to say what the boy had said to him about decreasing the population of Tokyo if he joined the dojo or train. Would he let another apprentice apart from him?
