Nyx's jaws dropped, "What?"
An evil grin curled up at the corner of his lips, "Are you surprised? You should not be," he shrugged, placing a hand on her chin, "You belong to me now."
Her legs weakened, "But...how?"
His eyes turned red again, "Are you asking me that?! I do not know!"
Her brows furrowed, but Oberon did not really reject her as his mate. A few days after he had marked her, that is when she had to leave the palace.
"This can not be," she shook her head, "I can not.. I will not believe you!"
"Tsk, I would not want to lie about my mate. I mean literally, who just claims any wolf as their mate?" he took some steps backwards scrutinizing her, "I will make sure I claim you," I do not care how I do it," his evil grin turned into a soft smile.
Nyx was puzzled, "Huh?"
"You do not have to worry about anything, be calm," he let his hand trail down her face again.
