During the journey to the Phoenix palace, Guin did not speak to anyone. Her head rested on Jerome's broad shoulder, listening to his heartbeat, which calmed her. Not long after, they entered an area covered in ice and snow as if it were perpetually winter.
Guin started to shiver from the cold, and if Jerome hadn't covered her with the warmth of his body, she would have frozen. Even though Jerome did not have fire magic, he was a werewolf with an above-normal body temperature.
"Welcome to my place." The Celestial Phoenix landed on one of the palace balconies, dropping off the two passengers before transforming into his human form.
Miraculously, Guin no longer felt cold as soon as she stepped onto the balcony. Although the temperature in the air seemed cold, she assumed that the room inside wouldn't be much different, but she was wrong. When they entered through the wide-open balcony doors, its temperature was warm, as if they had entered a normal building in the Unbound Havens.
