Wyatt Perry thought for a moment and said, "It was the same when you faked your death before; no heartbeat, no pulse, but the blood didn't coagulate, and there was no rigor mortis."
"This is unscientific. Once a person's heartbeat stops, the blood should stop flowing and quickly coagulate. What are you talking about with this fake death?"
Doctor Xie asked, puzzled.
His eyes shone keenly as he looked at Wyatt Perry, very much the image of an old scholar.
Wyatt Perry explained, "Last year, Claudia infected a new type of virus, the virus made her cough up blood, and later her heartbeat stopped; we all thought she was dead, but she wasn't, an antidote revived her."
"Is that so?" Doctor Xie grew very interested. "How did she get infected with that virus? Were there others infected?"
Wyatt Perry shook his head. "I don't know."
"Maybe your mother didn't die back then, could this virus be something genetically embedded within you?"
