If I had not been looking foward to this day,I won't have actually believed today was Friday.
This marks the last day of our honeymoon and I asked Annie to make a special dish he would like for breakfast.
He didn't show.
I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and asked for a magnificent lunch To be prepared for his arrival.
He still didn't show.
My hopes should have died there, but I was hopeful,stubborn.I requested For another special meal and even helped to make it.
Long story short,I have been sitting in front of roast beef with Yorkshire pudding for hours and my dear husband still hasnt come home.
Home.I chuckled sadly. This felt like a lifeless chunk of bricks,this was not a home.
" You should at least try to walk around–to stretch a bit."
I didn't Need to turn to know it was Shadrach speaking. I didnt want to turn,I felt more embarrassed that he was seeing me this way,waiting for a man who doesn't want me back.
