"I thought you wanted to tame it!" Airavat hovered around the temple entrance and asked.
"Yeah, uff, I wanted to," Aru replied, out of breath, as he heaved a large bundle of tree roots wrapped around the body of the pirarucu.
"Still, you did well. I never thought a kid like you could capture a rank 3 pirarucu." Airavat said, flying behind Aru to inspect what he was dragging.
The body of the rank 3 pirarucu was neatly wrapped in tree roots as Aru hauled it to the temple.
"What happened to its head?" the spirit asked curiously, noticing a dent on the fish's head.
"Oh! This thing was particularly hard to kill. Even after lying on land without water for an hour, it wouldn't die."
"So?"
"I made the dent to put it out of its misery."
"Oh! It's been too long since I saw a human and forgot that you can't kill your enemies just by looking at them. It's my mistake." Airavat apologized sincerely, unabashedly revealing it was once strong enough to kill its enemies with a mere look.
