He Teng glanced at He Zhilan, but before he could say more, she took her keys, opened the door, and entered her own room. Only after stepping in did Zhilan glance back at He Teng who had followed her inside, and then she busied herself by taking her clothes and heading to the bathroom for a shower.
When Zhilan emerged from the bathroom, she was surprised to find her belongings had mysteriously vanished.
"I moved your things to my room." He Teng spoke somewhat awkwardly, glancing at Zhilan before quickly looking away. He draped his coat over her shoulders, pulled her out of the room, took the key to Zhilan's room, and did not let go of her hand until they were back in his room.
Sure enough, the moment Zhilan looked, she saw all her belongings had instantly 'teleported' to He Teng's place.
What a sly move!
He wanted her to live with him but wouldn't say it outright, opting instead to express his intent through the act of moving her belongings!
