As I am asking if it would be okay for me to intrude on their family's event (which I do mostly just for formality as I absolutely would like to join it too), Kokoro Katsura just laughed it off and Manami Katsura (Kotonoha's Mother) assured me that it would be okay as she already knows about my relationship with Kotonoha.
As for the husband of Manami, or the father of Kotonoha Katsura.... Let's be polite and just say that his presence is almost as thin as empty air.
Mr. Katsura whose name has never been mentioned, or maybe it is just me never paying attention to him, whatever... Why do I have to care about the name of a background character whose screen time in anime and game is even less than the side characters, anyway?
Kotonoha's father have the appearance of your stereotype middle aged salaryman, with his (almost) square face and solid chin making the shape of a hexagon, a pair of round glasses is on his eyes and his black hair are thin and short.
He only speak one to two sentences and that's it.
For the whole time, it is mostly Kokoro who entertained me with her talks as I waited for Kotonoha who have gone to take a shower to clean herself up before she is dressing for her birthday party with her family.
Come to think of it.... Is it really okay for me to be here without taking a bath after a whole day running across the wilderness from Jelly Bean Town to Klepon Town?

If it is just using the toilet, it is a normal occurrence.
But taking a bath and/or a shower is an entirely different thing.
"I do have a change of clothes in my bag, but is it really okay?" Just to be sure, I asked Kokoro, this time I am not whispering but using a voice that is audible enough to be heard by the mother and father of Katsura family.
"Of course it is okay, why not? Right, Mother?" Asked Kokoro back to me with her innocent eyes while the little girl also throw another question to her Mother.
"Oh, it is okay, Jovanna-kun. Just treat this house like your own home." Said Manami Katsura as she gives her permission to bath in the house.
Meanwhile Mr. Katsura just sunk himself reading a newspaper, I can't see his face as his entire front are covered by the newspaper that he have spread with both of his hands.
"Then I will be impolite, excuse me." I excused myself before I am going to the bathroom located in the backend of the house, escorted by Kokoro-chan of course.
It is a good thing that Kotonoha have finished with her shower and have moved up to her room upstairs to get dressed properly when we have arrived on the bathroom, or else the standard lucky sukebe event like me running into Kotonoha who is only covered in a towel to wrap her glamorous body along the way or even worse, me meeting with a naked Kotonoha who is still showering as I entered the bathroom even after I am knocking may happen.

Well, those lucky pervert "incidents" you would usually see in the anime are quite ridiculous in my opinion.
First, let's think about the event when the MC run into a girl who is only covered in towel as she is just getting out from the bath.
That event would only occur if the girl(s) didn't expect to have any visitor suddenly coming to her place, but then again, Japanese bathroom in the anime are usually quite complete with a laundry room which in turn would have a rack to put a change of clothes.
So, unless it is on the off chance that the girl(s) forget to bring her change of clothes to be worn right after she finished with her bathing/shower, you wouldn't met any girl(s) running around the house to go from the bathroom to their room with only a towel covering her body so often like in anime.
Then again, I believe those scenes are made purely for fanservice, and not for realistic approach. Everybody would enjoyed them anyway.
As for the second lucky pervert event, it is even more ridiculous.
Usually the reason that is given in the anime regarding that event is that the girl didn't hear the sound of knocks on the door as she is currently immersed on her bathing and thus she didn't reply on the knocks, which made the protagonist would think that the bathroom is empty and thus he entered, only to be met with a fanservice scene of girl(s) on her birthday suit on the shower/bath.
Surely that kind of reason is pure tauros shit, even if the protagonist didn't hear the response from the girl due to her being immersed in her bath, he would still be able to hear the sound of running water from the bathroom which is indicating that someone is currently on the bath, right?
