"Stay close, don't get lost in the crowd," Elias says to me as we make our way onto the yacht.
Beck follows behind, watching our backs for any potential danger.
Though I feel it's unnecessary, I find I'm more at ease around him anytime I'm with Elias.
Being one of the last to step onto the yacht, we are welcomed by the host who stands in the middle of the hull, peering at everyone with eagerness in his eyes.
"Welcome all of you. As you may already know, today is the twentieth anniversary of my company Hillion Corp, and as such, I decided to celebrate with some of my closest friends to commemorate this special day. Please relax and enjoy yourself as we set out into sea."
The crowd begins to clap after the man's terrible speech.
As the crowd disperses, the man approaches Elias with an outstretched arm.
"Head Alpha Elias," the man whispers as Elias takes his hand. "I'm shocked you came today, I was not expecting you. Not that it isn't a pleasure."
Elias smiles.
