I just made it to the school after getting ready, only to notice that the place was empty.
"Why the hell is this place so empty?" I asked myself as I walked around the empty campus.
This is weird. I'm pretty sure the school was supposed to be open for exams, so either I got my days mixed up or.
Before I could finish my thoughts, I felt the presence of a familiar telepath.
"Betsy! Let me guess, the empty school was your handy work," I stated as I turned around to see Psylocke behind me, clad in her suit.
"Well, I thought we should be alone for this unless you did want an audience to observe," Betsy said in an almost suggestive tone.
"You would like that, wouldn't you?" I teased back.
"So we gonna start this or what?" Psylocke questioned me.
"Game on, bitch," I said as I flinged her away from me with Telekinesis.
"Cheap shot," Betsy said before sending a psionic energy whip strike at me.
I rolled out of the way of the strike and came up beside a bike rack. I looked at it and sent the bike rack at her as a distraction and sent a quick TK Bomb behind it.
She created a psi blade and cut through the bike rack, but wasn't prepared for the TK Bomb. The bomb detonated in her face and sent her flying back until she landed on the ground hard.
"This is stupid Betsy. We're both powerful mutants, so why are we fighting each other?" I said to the downed mutant.
"I have no choice," Psylocke said as she got up and a pink psionic shaped butterfly aura or whatever surrounded her head.
[Mental Attack Blocked]
"Sorry to disappoint you, Psy, but you're not getting into my mind," I told her. "But I can get into yours."
I used Telekinesis to keep her from moving and then used Telepathy to enter her mind with a forceful push because of her barriers.
As I peered inside Betsy's mind, I saw a memory of her and the rest of the Brotherhood gathered by Mystique as she told them of Magneto's plan to pick out the strongest mutants in his little survival of the fittest.
Huh, so that's what he's up to. The same plot from the season 1 finale. I was hoping he would've done something different, but hey, beggars can't be choosers or however that saying is supposed to go.
Hmm, while I'm still in her mind, maybe I should download her knowledge of martial arts.
