The unexpected attack that took Estrella by surprise had come from her right, from the only earth element evolver in the red sea underground. It was a cone, its large and heavy back pushing its pointy front straight for the open side of the now white-haired woman.
She was forced to stop her actions and slapped to the side. The cold vapor moved like it had a mind of its own. It suddenly weaved itself into a protective garment an inch away from her pale skin, before the majority of it flowed to her palm.
*BANG– CRACK*
The blow displaced the thin air around, creating wind in the surrounding few feet, before the cone flash froze, and cracked. It was as if it had turned brittle, but through the fissures, deeper than the now white surface, the inside showed barely any trace of frost.
Still, the cone had been stopped, and Estrella had not moved even one step from her position. Her eyes were cold as she raised her gaze to the distance.
