The man's spirit refused to move on, and instead, it turned the dead body into an undead ghoul.

The townspeople were terrified of the ghoul's presence, and they started to whisper stories about the vengeful spirit that haunted their village.
As time passed, the ghoul's rage only intensified, and he began to target anyone who dared to cross his path. His once gentle nature was replaced by a thirst for vengeance, and he annihilated the village leaving none alive.

The massacre of the village spread news about the event to the nearby Aetheru city, where Deracs heard about this.
He ordered his men to capture and put the ghoul in a dungeon, as he can't possibly bring it in the library for experiments. So he chose a abandoned dungeon for his experiments.
Deracs' men put him in the dungeon, where he injected several liquids in the ghoul's body to enable him to use magic.

As soon as Montu was back in his body and checked the ghoul's stat, he noticed that the ghoul began emitting a bright green light. The light grew brighter and brighter until it was almost blinding, and a thick green smoke began to emanate from the ghoul's body.
The smoke swirled and surrounded the ghoul, and it began to spin at high speed. Montu watched in awe as the smoke grew denser and more intense, until it was almost like a solid mass.
Then, as suddenly as it began, the smoke dissipated, and Montu saw that the ghoul had undergone a dramatic transformation. Its body had shrunk from 10 feet to 7 feet, but it was now even more muscular than before, and its skin had turned a deep shade of red.
It changed to a ghoul knight and its intelligence rose from 1 to 3.
"How did this happen system? Did he undergo mutation because of me?" Inquired Montu.

Suddenly he heard a deafening sound. The next moment, the top of the dungeon was blasted open, and he saw a man hovering in the air above the dungeon. The man had long black hair, was wearing a black cloak, and his eyes were glowing with an intense blue light.
In the next moment, the man was right beside Montu.
"What do we have here!! A blue zombie and a red ghoul!" Said the man.
