"I have seen Your Highness."
Behind the swaying robe of Yu Sicheng in the breeze, in a small pavilion standing alone by the pond, a figure in red with a golden mask sat next to a stone table, looking this way. Behind her, a tall and slender figure awkwardly held a small lamp, casting a weak orange glow, and also carried a black warm cloak on her arm.
"No need for formalities," said Li Xizhou. "Come up and put on a cloak."
Pei Ye thanked him, stood up, shook off the remaining water, stood straight with his hand on his sword, and walked past Yu Sicheng.
"It troubles the Chief Overseer of the Fisheries that the external walls of the Imperial Household Department need repair," Li Xizhou said as he stood, addressing someone on the shore.
"Your Highness is too serious; it is all part of the duty," said Yu Sicheng as he turned around, gave a slight bow, and then stood quietly with his sleeves tucked back.
