"New high score!"
I was surprised to hear this when I finally lost my last life.
After all, Kyoko hadn't been helping me since she had been acting like she was afraid the entire time. That made it quite hard for me since I was basically doing the job of two people all on my own.
But in the end, I managed to get a new high score even with this handicap.
Looking down at my own hands, I couldn't help being amazed.
That was because I knew exactly how it happened.
Halfway through, it was almost as if the zombies on the screen started to move slower than before. It was as if I was able to see all the movements of the zombies in slow motion with the way that they slowed down.
And the reason for that was my enhanced senses.
Because of my powers awakening, my body had adapted to it and had also become stronger. That made my senses much sharper than before, which made it seem like everything had been moving in slow motion.
