Dark Pov
After the spider sentinel gets up I ask Destiny what was going on [ as I said earlier hundreds of sentinels have connected to the system however theses sentinels are not combat variants they appear to be designed to aid in construction in space or in atmosphere the system has already called them into it's inventory space] wait my inventory can not hold that many sentinels " Destiny my inventory can not hold that many sentinels" I am curious as to how the system is going to put them there [ the sentinels have not gone into your inventory they are being held in a pocket space by the system however you are unable to take them out and the system will take them out and put them in a cargo bay of a ship you own but for now that's not possible so they are unaccessible for now] her response makes sense with that I order the sentinels that came with me to follow as I do the spider sentinel seems to act with them I sigh thinking I got something at least.
After all that I went into the hallway the spider sentinel came from and began making my way to what can only be described as hell since there's no way a normal human will be mad enough to go directly to where the Gravemind is just to get to the room above it. As i make my way through the hallway to my suprise I can see sentinels firing at what looks like grunts and elites but theres strange bits of biomass on their bodies and I know they are flood infected but them being here means that the Arbiter is ether already here or about to arrive.
I order my sentinels to destroy the flood infected and after they did they seem to ignore me which I am fine with and quickly continue on my way after reaching the end of the hallway I finally come to the door of the first room and without much thought I enter and as I do to my expectations the room is full of flood infected and infection forms not waiting for them to notice me I open fire as do my sentinels and thanks to my new spider sentinel the flood were killed without much problem.
After reloading my smgs I make my way to the door at the other end of the room and entering just like the previous room it's filled with flood and this time they notice me right away and begin their assault but unfortunately for them I have a spider sentinel and it's purple orbs launch laser after laser killed any of the flood that get close and after what seemed like forever the last flood infected falls to the ground I quickly reload before mentally preparing myself for what's to come.
After I was ready I went to the door that was opposite the way I came in and watched as the door opened revealing a large room with a large circler hole in the middle and on the area surrounding the hole theres at least 1000 flood forms as I was about to enter " I was not expecting you to come to me i assumed you wouod look for a portal device to take you to the control facility" I calm myself before I enter and speak " that's not my job I am only here to complete my mission what ever happens after that is on you" my reply shocks the Gravemind not expecting me to not care what happens if the ring is activated meaning he has no way to use me to stop it.
Not waiting for my reply I quickly make my way to the gravity lift but as I am only a stretch away the flood in the room move to block my way " if you are not here to activate the ring than why come at all" I sigh at his question I knew it would not be that easy an now that there's at least 500 flood forms blocking the gravity lift my only option is to shoot my way through.
A/N that's it for this chapter and I know I did not do a description of the Gravemind that's because he's not important yet and he will get a description of his appearance once he makes a proper appearance he only here for this chapter and abit of the next so thought it would be better to leave it with that thank you for reading hope you enjoyed this chapter.
