I mean to stop her but she's moving fast and quick making it hard for me to keep track. She abruptly stops as we reach near a cave.
"Jude!", I exclaim while breathing hard and tired, dropping my hands to my knees.
She looks behind as soon as she hears me and draws her sword out to my neck," why are you following me? do you think you can win a fight with me?".
Is that was she thinks of me?
"n-no of course not. I just saw you going somewhere so i thought we could talk. You can tell about this place"
"well...okay", she says as she relaxes her arm and puts the sword back.
Jude swiftly moves her hand and presses something opening the back of the cave and revealing a magical glistening pond. It's not that big but enough to fill at least three people. Oak trees surround the pond and it's roots creep into the water. She looks at me and hesitates, she slowly undresses herself and makes her way into the water, melting into it.
" Are you coming in? the water's nice", she murmurs and closes her eyes, loosening her body and relaxes herself.
I'm not sure but i like this moment so i undress too and wade through the water. It's warm like a blanket in a harsh weather and my skin feels soft like petals of rose. I move and stop in front of jade, studying her face for a bit. My heart is beating so fast that I'm afraid she might hear it, i can't stop this feeling. I hold my breath while looking, Her black curls have disappeared because of the water, she has freckles. Her pink lips are parted and i suppose she sensed me that she opened her eyes. We stare at each other and none of us say anything.
" so..what are you going to do now? find a way back?" she says breaking our eye contact and moving her hand to and fro in the water.
"i don't know, i'll stay here till i figure something out i guess", I'm still looking at her, reading her face. I'm trying to figure what she's thinking, If her heart's beating fast like mine.
"okay", she concludes.
We both get dressed and move out of the cave. The sky is dark as ever now making the canopy of stars stand out. The freshly peeled moon floats on the night sky, it's path clear from clouds or smoke.
" where will you go to now?", i ask.
" I'm not sure, I'll take a round around the castle and make sure everything's alright and then head to bed i suppose", she shrugs.
"so..would you like to walk with me to my room?", i can feel the tip of my ears turning red as i ask her that." i don't know the way and i don't want to get lost", i quickly add in staring at my hands.
" oh alright. let's go"
we walk in great silence and i glace at her a few times.
" here it is, my room. Thanks for dropping me off"
" no problem", Jude says moving her hands through her hair. It has dried up and are curled up over her shoulder.
"Okay then, goodnight"
"Goodnight Hannah", she ends and walks away.
My body is tired and my feet sore from all the walking, I change and my eyes drift close as soon as i hit the bed. i do not even dream.

I open my eyes to the bright sun that doesn't hurt my eyes but instead glazes through the tinted glass window, warm and buttery sunlight flows into the room like yolk from a cracked egg. It feels soft upon my skin. The bed is so comfortable it makes it too difficult get up but i feel great, this feels like a dream. I give my self a moment, soaking this moment into myself and force myself to get up.
The dining hall is where the elf told me everyone should be right now. I enter the ginormous room with lights everywhere and candles lit, the long tables are heaped with food; freshly cut fruits, eggs in all forms there could possibly be, several jugs of juices, meat and different breads hot and fresh enough to make my mouth water, but i see no one there.
" Do you happen to know where the princess could be?", i ask one of the guards standing and he told me they're in the private discussion room. I know he said private but i feel like something's wrong so i head there. The door is slightly open and i hear the princess demand but if i won't go who will? i knock and enter the room.
Jade, the princess, and two more people are in the room and they all stare at me like I'm the last piece of a puzzle they were trying hard to solve.
" Don't answer it, i know! ",enunciated the princess.
