Chapter 77 - The Golden Crow

A pair of fairy golden eyes appeared inside the Golden Crow Holy Land's cave. The eyes were farrowing while looking at a specific place in the golden Crow valley.

It noticed a dimensional disturbance a second ago inside its dimensions. As soon as it opened its eyes, it saw a round sparks circle appeared inside its dimensions, and then a young man came out of it.

This angered the owner of the eyes as it roared.

*screee*

The eye moved from the cave and came out, taking the shape of a flaming golden Crow. It then flew towards the young man at an extremely fast speed.

Arjun heard the roar of the Golden Crow as soon as he appeared in the Valley. His lips twitched because he could hear the anger in the roar.

He knew that if travel in such a way it would anger the divine beast. But he had no other choice. He didn't have the seal to enter the legacy ground.

Before he could think of anything, he saw a golden flaming bird flying towards him at extremely fast speed.

Arjun smiled embarrassingly and said "Hi" But the bird didn't even hear his greeting as it shouted "How dare you appear in my legacy ground without the seal?"

It wasn't just the speech. She even attacked Arjun with her profound technique to teach him a lesson of his life.

Arjun didn't avoid the attack as it might anger her even more. He wasn't here to fight. Besides, with us Absolute Fire affinity, he was immune to being hurt by any and all Fire.

*Boom*

As soon as the attack made contact with Arjun, a loud booming sound spread across the sacred ground. The Golden Crow didn't hold back at her attack.

"Serves you right. How dare you barge into my holy ground without my consent."

Just when the Golden Crow thought the intruder was dead and was about to return to her adobe, she heard someone speaking.

"Are you done with your attack? Can we talk now?"

Arjun resurfaced from the mass of fire without any harm. Just his clothes were burned to ashes because of the fire.

Golden Crow forrowned as she looked at the unhurt Arjun. She couldn't believe that this human survived her Dive Fire, which was the hottest fire in all primal chaos.

'Wait, Human? No, he feels more like from theRace Race. But how can someone survive that?'

"Who are you?" The Golden Crow finally asked as she calmed down a little bit.

"Is this how you greet a fellow God? Did you forget your hospitality after spending so much time in this damn place?"

Arjun didn't act timidly with her. He knew that she was prideful and would not agree to his condition if she thought that he didn't have any spine.

Be, ides he was here to subjugate the Golden Crow. And to do that, he had to convince her by any means, and acting cowardly was not one of them.

Golden Crow ignored everything, only focused on the God part. She narrowed her eyes and sensed that he was only in the Divine Origin Realm.

Golden Crow replied "Being a member of the God race is not enough for me to respect you. You are just a junior and a moron without any power."

Arjun chuckled and replied "I will get stronger in due time, but what about you. You have already lost your formal strength. And now you are just a wisp of the original's soul."

Golden Crow forrowned and looked at Arjun irritatedly. Before she could say anything, Arjun continued "But even if you are just a wisp of a soul, you are still once a divine beast. So I am here to invite you to join me."

Golden Crow relaxed a little when she heard his compliment but paused when she heard the last part. She laughed out loud.

"Join you? Why? And do you not know the impending doom and the prophecy?"

"I am well aware of the doom, and I also know the prophecy. But we don't need to wait for the Evil God's successor. Even Evil God himself couldn't do anything, so what made you think that his successor will be able."

Arjun said arrogantly and paused to look at the Golden Crow. He then continued "But I am different. I have the potential to surpass all the creation Gods. And when the time comes, solving that problem would be as easy as lifting a finger."

Golden Crow looked at Arjun as if she was looking at a moron and asked "and where did you get that confidence from? Just because of your special physique and Dragon blood in your vain. Do you think that is enough?"

"And how will you know if it isn't enough or not? So why not join me and see for yourself."

"Forget about joining you. We divine beasts are not pets that one can take us as they wish. Just because you are delusional doesn't mean we can't think."

Golden Crow narrowed her eyes and said "Leave. I will let you go because you are a fellow God member."

Arjun may not be an arrogant and easygoing person, but he wasn't a pushover. And now that someone is looking down on him without such power, how could he digest all of this?

At least he wanted to show that he was not as weak as the opposite thinking about him.

"Let me show you why not to underestimate me."

Arjun still couldn't transform into a full dragon as the process was still ongoing. But he could transform into a hybrid form.

So he took his hybrid form. Golden dragon scales covered his body, and a pair of wings came out of his back. A 4 meter long tail also grows out of his back.

His golden eyes had slight irishes.

A strong gust of wind spread all around as it declared the arrival of the God of all beasts and also the strongest gods ever, The Dragon God.

One of the kind that shouldn't exist in Primal chaos.

Seeing him transforming into Golden Crow also turned serious. It was her first time sensing this bloodline. And she could tell that it was stronger than the former Dragon God's.

The Golden Crow soared through the skies, feathers ablaze with radiant fire, as the humanoid Dragon emerged with scales glistening like obsidian. Their clash began with a whirlwind of punches and slashes, each move fueled by elemental power.

The Dragon's claws clashed with the Golden Crow's fiery talons, creating sparks that illuminated the battlefield. They danced in a graceful yet fierce exchange of blows, the air crackling with the intensity of their conflict.

The Golden Crow unleashed bursts of celestial fire, weaving intricate patterns that the humanoid Dragon skillfully dodged. In response, the Dragon's scales shimmered, forming a protective barrier against the scorching flames. A fusion of fire and shadow painted the battlefield.

As the battle intensified, the humanoid Dragon revealed its mastery over elemental winds, creating cyclones that attempted to engulf the Golden Crow. Undeterred, the Golden Crow harnessed the winds, redirecting them in a dazzling display of control.

The Dragon's tail, adorned with razor-sharp spikes, lashed out with precision. The Golden Crow evaded and retaliated with radiant beams of energy, illuminating the humanoid Dragon's silhouette against the blazing backdrop.

In a climactic moment, both combatants gathered their elemental strength. The Golden Crow enveloped itself in a luminous aura, while the humanoid Dragon channelled the essence of shadows. The clash reached its pinnacle as their energies collided, sending shockwaves through the battlefield.

As the dust settled, the Golden Crow and the humanoid Dragon stood, both battered and weary. Yet, mutual respect lingered in their gaze, recognizing the strength and prowess each brought to the elemental duel.

Arjun actually didn't use his full power. After all, a full-scale attack might damage her soul, which was already very weak.

Besides, he was here to acquire her. And by the looks of it, he failed.

Arjun looked at the Crow and muttered 'you left me no other choice.'
