Plains Biome.
In the middle of the massive plains field there was a young man lying motionless on the ground, he seemed to be unconscious.
Around him was the lively scene of an early morning.
There's a vast array of animals wandering peacefully around the unconscious man, there's cows, horses, pigs, sheeps, bees and chicken.
The sun illuminated the ground that means the day has arrived.
Suddenly the young man's body suddenly twitched.
His eyes snapped open, still dazed, the young man began to slowly sit up.
He stared at his body in bewilderment.
'I'm alive…?' He thought, despite his blurry vision he calmly observed his surroundings.
It was a vast empty field surrounded by thick forests of birch and oak.
The strangest part was that everything he saw was 'blocky'.
'My head!' He clutched his head in pain.
Suddenly the pain subsided and his senses went back to normal.
He looks around and sees the variety of animals wandering around in the fields and woods, small lakes spread through the lands and the square Sun staring down from the sky.
'Am I truly reincarnated into Minecraft? Well, it doesn't seem to be reincarnation but rather transmigration was it?' He thought, he began to stand up, it was a strange feeling but something that he was quickly used to.
Just right at his bottom peripheral vision, he noticed a row of squares and two rows of icons above them.
On the right side, the icon appears to be a row of small drumsticks, it was the hunger bar.
While on the left side, the icon appears to be a row of red hearts, it was the health bar.
The horizontal line of squares located under the previously mentioned icon was the hotbar and the XP bar is located just right in the middle of the hunger and health bar against the hotbar.
'Is this my hotbar? It seems to be, how can I open the inventory?' He thought as he tried to tinker around with the hotbar until a new panel appeared before him.
Inside the inventory was the miniature display of his skin, beside the skin was the 2x2 crafting grid, the inventory was the 3x9 grid that has 27 slots for items excluding the hotbar.
Vincent was overjoyed at this revelation but was halted as he noticed the bizarre details of his skin.
It was identical to the default Minecraft skin, Steve but somewhat different.
It has white eyes.
"There's no way right?" He muttered as he touched the skin of his face.
He couldn't believe it.
Most Minecraft players that have been playing for a long time should be familiar with this figure.
The myth.
The legend.
The devil.
The teacher.
The bug.
The monster.
He was known as 'Herobrine'.
One of the most famous creepypasta of its time alongside Null and Entity 303.
It has barely any distinctions between itself and the original counterpart, Steve.
Except his white empty eyes.
There have been many depictions of the character.
And now, Vincent was transmigrated as that character.
'No way right?' He thought, a smile crept into his face before being quickly dismissed.
'Survival is the most important right now.' He thought, as he stared at the sky trying to figure out what time it was.
Thankfully, his thinking hadn't been long so it was still early in the morning.
"Before my mind could wander off, I should think about survival first." He muttered as he walked towards an oak tree.
He breathed in and out to calm himself.
'I hope I have the physiology of a Minecrafter…' He thought with determined eyes as he drew back his fist and prepared for a punch.
Crack
The first punch cracked the block.
'Thank God, it seems that I can prepare comfortably.' He thought.
After multiple punches, the log began to pop and turned into a smaller version that floats in place and as usual the block above it began to defy gravity.
He then crafted a Crafting Table and placed it on the ground next to him before he continued punching the tree.
From the Oak Logs he crafted a Wooden Pickaxe.
"Let's start digging!" He said, a wide smile swept across his face as he made a short staircase to a few blocks underground to collect stones.
After collecting three stones, he crafted a Stone Pickaxe.
Using the Stone Pickaxe, he collected over 2 stacks of stone.
He crafted furnaces to create Charcoal for the torches.
'Now, let's search for a cave.' He thought.
Wandering aimlessly, Vincent killed animals to collect their meat along the way, he also collected 5 wools and quickly crafted a Bed.
After several hours of walking, he noticed that the Sun was right above him.
'It's already noon? Better be quick then.' He thought as he hastened the pace.
He had finally found the cave.
"Great!" He exclaimed as he walked inside and placed a torch on the wall before blocking the whole entrance.
'I haven't encountered a hostile mob yet so I don't really know how they'll interact with me, that's assuming this 'Herobrine' skin is somewhat special.' He thought.
He slowly descended into the depths of the cave while putting the torch on the walls.
'Oh, coals.' He thought as he pulled out the Stone Pickaxe.
'Once again, I'll say it, the hotbar being able to change slots with only a thought is really convenient and cool.' He thought as he stared at the Stone Pickaxe materializing on his hand.
He acquired 23 coals.
"Nice." He muttered as he continued his descent.
He walked down the cave's steps, it was rough.
'Let's take a break for a moment.'
Vincent sat down and placed his furnaces to start cooking the meat he collected and a few stones to get smooth stones.
On his hand was a deliciously cooked beef, a thick and juicy slab of a perfectly seared meat and its golden-brown crust glistening with rendered fat.
The moment he took a bite, the tender, savory richness filled his mouth, bursting with a deep, smoky flavor. Everytime he chews it gets better as it releases a satisfying blend of succulent juices and a hint of fire-kissed aroma.
'Good God, I didn't expect a Minecraft steak of all things to taste like this~!' He thought, savoring the taste of the cooked beef.
After he finished eating and smelting, Vincent began to move once again.
He had mined multiple coal veins along the way that accumulated over 2 stacks of coals.
Suddenly a groaning voice was heard.
'Zombies!' He thought as he stared into the distance to see three zombies walking towards him.
