Azuri opened the apartment door, went inside first, and Lily followed carrying, the plastic bags, and closing the door behind. Azuri went to sleep, where Aurora, was relaxing, and watching TV in amazement, that she barely registered their presence.
Lily looked, towards where her father's corpse used to be, and felt, a weight being lifted from her shoulders. The corpse had been a constant reminder, she hadn't moved on, and now that it's gone, she can finally look towards the future.
She went to the kitchen counter, ignoring Azuri's sword, and placed everything on the counter and sighed, thinking. 'Why should I work this hard? Human food no longer agrees with me." She turned to look towards the couch, and saw Azuri and Aurora fighting over which channel they want to watch.
And without realising, she was smiling. 'Is this the first time, I have ever been remotely happy? Then if it means keeping it that way, then I will work a thousand times, as hard to keep it that way.'
