Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Hogwarts School of Science and Technology

Harry had a lot to say about Draco's unnecessary presence, but found it hard to utter a word under Yolanda's stare. It was as if she was daring him to say anything rude to the blond that stood Infront of him with clear smugness. "Looks like you are doing well. I will be taking my leave, I've had the pleasure of being within your perimeter for more than an hour. And frankly, I'm displeased."

Harry gestured toward him to make a point to Yolanda as to how he was supposed to be civil. Draco was making it very hard to be friendly. If it weren't for the fact that he had no gun, or that there were patients around. He would have killed him there and then—Draco being the killer—just for the satisfaction.

Yolanda just stood patiently smiling as if Draco had just said the most beautiful thing she had ever heard. Harry was offended.

Draco waved goodbye to Yolanda after hugging and pecking her cheek. Confusion was an understatement as to what Harry was feeling. Yolanda picking up on his confusion smiled softly, "I used to take care of him when his parents were out. A nanny you could say." She explained as she went to a cupboard and took out a needle.

Harry's shock was unmasked, "But you're so sweet and he's so...Malfoy. How come he didn't turn out like you?" Yolanda filled the syringe with a liquid from the bottle she rolled in on the cart. She shrugged, "I said I took care of him when his parents were away. It wasn't often. Children tend to take after their parents more so than their care takers."

Harry decided to leave the topic on that short note, "Will Harry be able to be discharged today?" Hermione asked impatiently. Harry had forgotten Ron and Hermione still sat there which he wasn't really surprised about, he tended to do that a lot. Now he didn't understand what could be bothering her to want to leave so badly. If she wanted to leave the exit was right there. Harry believes that she was asking for her own benefit, not his.

Such is human nature, "After I give him a few more pain killers, I have to run another test just to determine it would be safe for him to leave. Then-"

"I get it." Yolanda didn't like being interrupted, but she let it slide, muttering a few curses in a foreign language that was sure to not be friendly. She injected Harry on his bicep with the clear liquid before covering it up with a bandaid. She run a couple more test like she said she would, before checking on his injuries. Right after, he got the all clear.

She did an x-ray just in case before telling them they could leave. She informed them that since the scanner was damaged they had to come back later in the year for a proper scan, for precaution, because you never know with Harry.

As soon as he was discharged, Ron informed them he was going to bring the car around. Being stuck Hermione wasn't exactly ideal, as she kept nagging on being 'more responsible' or 'paying attention' like that would do much. To his relief Ron pulled up.

They piled into the car, Hermione in the front seat, and Harry at the back.It was a bit cramped with his crutches. As it turns out the shattered knee cap wasn't doing him favours. He was allowed to skip school until his injuries were healed, for once pain was his savior.

They—Hermione and Harry—wanted stopped by a Starbites for some take-out since Harry had clearly been food deprived, but Ron decided that Harry needed a home cooked meal to fill him up. He insisted that Molly wouldn't mind if he went over for dinner, and that is exactly what they did. Harry was lucky to have friends like them, some more than others.

After a month of no school, he was back in top shape. If you count him only having a cast on one arm as too shape then you aren't far off. His uncle, Remus Black, dropped him off at the front gate with his bags, and a wallet full of cash to last him a few months. Harry thanked him with a quick hug before waving him off as he drove down the street, and disappeared into a narrow path that leads down into a forest and then out into an open road.

The school was situated on a hill surrounded by nothing but trees and grass. Almost like the place he was when he was kidnapped. The place wasn't mapped nor was it findable unless you try to find it. It was as if, a force field was keeping everyone and everything from entering except those who know of the place.

A few buff men came out and took his luggage toward the Gryffindor boy dormitories. They informed him that he needed to get to the auditorium, but he insisted on following them to the dorms in order to freshen up, or at least take his gun. He had to do a whole show of faking that his arm hurt before they allowed him to stay in his room, "The consequences are on your head." One of them grumbled.

Harry was aware of that possibilty, yet he couldn't find it in himself to care.

"I would like to present the award of 'most hunted' to Harry Potter." A voice boomed in the quite auditorium, which soon bursted into claps and hoots. But no one came up. The announcer called again, yet Harry had not stepped up. He wasn't present. A woman made her way to the announcer, whispered in his ear, before going back stage.

The man cleared his throat, "It seems Mister Potter has decided to take a rest in his room. His visit to the hospital seems to have take a toll on him. "Lawrence McGuire, step out!" All eyes turned to a nervous boy, who quickly made his way to the stage. He looked frightened to no end, and his fear only increased with each second that passed.

"Were you seen?" The man asked as he put a hand on the boy's shoulder. The boy shook his head frantically, "That's one achievement. Open fire!" The man commanded after moving out of the way. The seated students each took out a small hand gun, given to them once the enter the school. It was something that was a must in that school.

The fact that they had no remorse for the boy standing up on that stage was enough to realize how far their power-hungry hearts went. It was bad enough with the daily hunts for new students, endangering their lives in the process. They would recruit children of 11 years and above to join that school of evil and torture, an the thing was the parents had no say in it.

They usually target children who come from families with huge depts on their backs. It was a way of saying, 'Do this, and your dept will be void.' We know how far human greed can go, that they would even give their children away for a pack of cigarettes.

They would give their children to that school for free just for the sake of it. There are some people who just happen to stumble across the application, and willingly sign themselves up for the hell they had thought would bring them a normal fun experience.

Their right of passage taken away from them with a press of a button. They kill to survive, some just for fun. When they don't comply with the rules set out for them, they are killed without mercy. But they give them chances to change their mind, but sometimes the worst comes to worst.

There are teachers that have once been victims to this evil, and are then forced to work. Some willingly, some are new. Those who try to tell the police never make it far enough. That's just the world we live in. The wicked try to prevail.

Multiple shots were heard as the boy stood there and took them. No one aimed for his face or legs, just his chest. They would have lie to make it simple and quick but that wasn't the case. Some missed him by a hair, but still got him nonetheless. Once all the guns were put away safely into their holders, the boy took out a board.

It was a metal casing type board that had all the bullets lodged into them, "Rule 95 sir! Always be prepared sir!" Lawrence saluted the man, who just stared at him with a neutral expression. He nodded in approval before gesturing Lawrence to go back to his seat.

As soon as the boy walked down, his back facing the man, not once looking back, a gun was heard. Lawrence went down, dead. "Rule 10, never turn you back on a threat." Someone whispered from behind the curtain his gun was sticking out from. Smoke drifting out from the hole.

"Well done Malfoy!" The man happily said, leaving Lawrence's body to be picked up by the staff. Draco retreated back, passing the back door to get to his seat. This was a fight for survival, everyone understood his motive. They were sure they would have done the same, so no comment was made.

A large screen flashed behind the man, [Lawrence McGuire: Dead, Killer: Draco Malfoy +10]

With that out of the way, everyone went back to their various activities before they were called to the auditorium. There was no rest for the wicked.
