She didn't think too much and truthfully said:
"Grandfather knew. When I came to find my mother, I didn't see her, but Grandfather was at home, and I even mentioned this matter to him."
At this point, Ivy Lentz paused, her gaze assessing Elly Campbell's expression, and seeing that she remained composed, she continued:
"After listening to me, Grandfather agreed with my idea and said that once mom came back, he would help me persuade her. But unexpectedly..."
Ivy Lentz didn't continue, her eyelids lowered, and her eyes reddened.
