Chapter Three
"Otherwise, I'll make your life a living hell."
Harry Greene clenched his teeth as he spoke, his words carrying a vague yet dangerous warning.
Regina Brown looked at him defiantly, mocking, "Have you gone mad? Don't you know who she is?"
Shouldn't Sofia Hamilton be their common enemy?
Now, he was defending that woman instead?
"Harry Greene! Don't forget, you promised me you'd help me deal with her."
"I did promise you, but now I've changed my mind," Harry Greene said, his lips curling into an unfeeling smile.
At that moment, it seemed as if all his previous promises to her were false.
What about helping her secure the position of Mrs. Gregory...
Saying that as long as she obeyed him, he would definitely help her against that woman.
But now what?
Regina Brown couldn't believe it; he was turning his back on her faster than flipping a book, "You, how can you have no integrity at all, going back on your word so quickly."
