He gripped her hand tightly, their fingers interlocking, clasping each other's warmth. The gentle heat gradually seeped into Sofia Hamilton's heart, sweetening her mood and making the corners of her mouth rise involuntarily.
When they arrived at the restaurant, he ordered steak. Just as she was about to cut into it, he reached over and took the plate from in front of her, "Let me help you."
Ryan Gregory meticulously sliced the steak, his posture elegant, every movement exuding aristocratic demeanor.
This was different from her experience of growing up among commoners, learning these things later in life. It was a distinct feeling.
Nobility had infused itself into his life, becoming a habit he had cultivated.
Watching him skillfully cut the steak, she couldn't help but recall many past images.
