Chapter One
Ryan Gregory turned around and saw her standing behind him, her face filled with disappointment. The confusion of just waking up still lingered on her face, mixed with despondency and bewilderment, which made it somewhat unbearable to tell her the results of the test.
She was barefoot and thinly dressed, likely to catch a cold easily.
She was inherently cold-natured and always neglected to take care of her body.
Ryan Gregory's brow furrowed slightly as he walked over to pick up a coat lying nearby, gently placing it on her shoulders, and shifted her long hair behind her back, "Aren't you cold?"
"Have the results come out?" Sofia Hamilton ignored his question and asked directly.
To her, this question was more important.
Ryan Gregory frowned and hesitated for a moment before he had no choice but to speak, "They have, but..."
"There's no blood relation, there must have been some mistake."
