Spring of 2013
Jake was in a waiting room, raising his head he let his aunt fix the tie. She sighed lost in her own thoughts, however the alpha had a slight idea of what it was.
— Aunt, thank you for coming to help me.
The omega raised her eyes and smiled at Jake with a slight flushing on her face.
— I did nothing too much. How could I miss my nephew's wedding? — She whispered and then her face showed some sadness again — I just can't believe that Renata and Pablo didn't want to come.
— It would be kind of hard for them to come, after what happened...
His parents were removed from the Mckenzie family and received a lawsuit from Nathaniel. With the complaint that they offered a minor to have sex with an adult, they also received a prison voice. But the couple managed to pay bail and the lawsuit and left the country.
Since then they never came into contact with either Jake or the other Mckenzie.
— Where are they again?
— Greece. It looks like they'll be there for a while.
— So far...
— Aunt, I thought you were angry with them.
The omega looked up at Jake and agreed with her head, finishing tying the knot on Jake's tie.
— Of course I was furious, and I am still. After all, they tried something horrible with my girl. But sometimes it is hard to believe that a person of your confidence, who you live with all the time and had many good memories does something so hideous. Sometimes I cling to this anger so I don't miss them as our family.
Ah, he understood that feeling well. Jake also had trouble believing and even cried a lot when he received the news that they would be arrested. The alpha even sighed relieved when they managed to pay bail, but he could not forget what his own parents did.
In fact, after that interview, many people left Jake and Nathaniel's lives. Júlio kept in touch, but was focused on college and work as a journalist. Bianca transferred to another college in another city. Her parents remained in politics, but did not win the elections.
Even Caspian seemed quieter when they stumbled into the city. Even when he saw Guilherme, Jake swore to see on him a face of regret. But he just turned his back and walked away. Those people who once fought, felt jealous, they left their natural life and quietly.
Unfortunately the same happened with your parents.
Anyway, Jake was feeling a little sad that they couldn't be at his wedding.
— Okay, let's see... — The omega walked away and looked at Jake from top to bottom and smiled wide — It's beautiful, Jake.
— Really? Zero chances of the groom running away then, right?
— Haha, of course.
Jake smiled and a knock on the door interrupted the conversation. The waiting room door was opened, and blonde hair appeared in the crack. As Milles' brown eyes met his mother's, the atmosphere in that waiting room became a little more tense.
It was amazing how Jake and Milles had problems with their parents, although their uncles never committed any crime like Jake's parents. However, their pride was too high.
— Oh, sorry to interrupt. — Milles said, as he was about to leave the waiting room.
— No — I responded to omega quickly, managing to hold the son's attention — Ah... I mean...
Jake watched that tension between the two and then released a low sigh.
— You two better talk while uncle is not here.
They both knew the alpha was right. Milles' father was stubborn and proud, would not let his wife talk to the son, who chose to leave home to be with another male omega. But Milles' mother was another matter. It was clear that she missed her son.
Then would not be better to seize the opportunity?
— You're right. We can talk a little, just until the ceremony begins.
Milles looked at Jake, and the cousin just smiled agreeing with his head. Then the blonde alpha entered the waiting room, holding in his arms a little girl with blond hair wearing a pearly dress and a bow on her head.
As soon as she saw the little girl, Milles' mother's eyes widened and filled with tears. Jake hugged his aunt's shoulders, smiling thrilled that this is the first time she sees her own granddaughter.
— Is that...?
— Bianca, my daughter with Nicolas.
The omega approached the three-year-old girl and then introduced herself to her. Bianca looked like a little doll, smiled without even caring about the tension between adults. Watching that scene, Jake missed his own children, but then he remembered that Ariel should be giving work to her uncles so he smiled pleased to be out of this.
— I'll leave you alone, I need to go and meet the guests — Jake approached his aunt and kissed her face — Thank you for the help, aunt.
— You're welcome, Jake.
Caressing his cousin's hair, Jake left the waiting room and went to the church's reception, where some guests had already arrived. He greeted each of them, accepted the jokes of his college friends and the volleyball team, and stood at the door of the church talking with those who arrived.
From time to time he received a message from Matheus and Guilherme, sending photos of the twins who were dressed waiting inside the car. Of course, they were going to come in later only, but to avoid soiling their clothes the ideal would be to wait in the car.
Good luck to the uncles who look after them for now.
The guests' reception was done and gradually the church became full. The staff in charge of organizing the event soon warned Jake that he should stand at the entrance, and there he was holding his grandfather's arm.
— You won't trip, grandpa.
— Quiet, kid.
— Do you see something?
— I told you to be quiet!
Jake laughed and put his grandfather's hat on, and then the music would play so the godparents could go into the church. Then Jake went in with Joseph.
Standing in front of the altar left the alpha anxious. Although he knew that Nathaniel would not run away from him, still he felt nervous. The bite behind his ear calmed him a little, and a smile sprouted on his lips. Was he being cared for by his omega even in moments like this?
Wearing dark suit and white tie, Jake checked if his costume was spotless. From the altar, he watched each guest, finding Milles and Nicolas sitting next to his aunt. Just seeing Nicolas near his aunt made Jake feel a shiver and sense of danger, but considering that Milles was in the middle of them, then everything should be fine.
Theodore and Gabriel with Kauã, in his six years wearing a stylish suit, and a little girl with her three years old wearing a yellow dress. Theodore waved to Jake and signaled for the alpha to breathe, Jake smiled grateful and took a deep breath feeling his heart calm down a little.
He wanted to see his omega as soon as possible. He wanted to get married and make him happy for the rest of his life.
His eyes wandered through the church, recognizing each person there. It was sad that on the part of his family only his grandfather, cousin and aunt were there. Jake wished his parents were there.
The musicians began to play the wedding march.
Jake's blue eyes rose to the slowly opening church door.
Accompanied by his mother, Nathaniel was standing behind the door. The moment Jake saw him, Jake felt his heart accelerate like a runaway train. Swallowing dry, he remembered the first time he saw himself at the college gate, when Jake picked up Nathaniel's mask.
Also remembered the time when Jake covered him with his pheromones when he went into heat. The time they had breakfast together... All the conversations, all the encounters, of the first kiss in the pool, of the first night together, of when he loved his body and his pains.
Jake just remembered everything as he looked at Nathaniel wearing a white suit with a black tie and a veil covering his face. The omega held a bouquet of white flowers, his favorite.
He was beautiful.
Jake sighed as his eyes watered and the tip of his nose tingled with a sudden urge to cry.
As he walked through the church in slow steps, Jake remembered every moment they had together and the problems they had overcome to get there.
When the two arrived at the altar, Jake reached out to hold Nathaniel's hand. His fingers pulled back causing a slight shock and a heat wave that calmed the alpha. Turning to his mother-in-law, he smiled and kissed her face.
— Thank you for entrusting him to me.
Arabella blushed slightly and widened her smile. Holding the two hands, she was the purest emotion.
— Ares would be proud of you two. Be happy, boys.
— Thank you, mom.
Facing each other, Jake raised his veil and smiled wide as he noticed how beautiful Nathaniel was. His light brown eyes looked even more beautiful and bright that day. Nothing in it was clumsy, even the wretched hair was trimmed.
Beautiful.
Your fiancé was beautiful.
And so, Jake took Nathaniel's hand and the two stood in front of the priest, who began the ceremony. As they heard his words, Jake looked occasionally at Nathaniel.
Wanted to jump right into the part where they could kiss.
Nathaniel was very beautiful. It was impossible not to look at his fiancé. Jake wanted to take him on his lap and kiss his whole body. Wanted to do so many things with him, wrap him in his arms and kiss him... It was as if a wave of love and affection drowned Jake, making him want to have all the attention of his omega.
The ceremony continued, and in the middle of it the priest called for the rings.
Once again the doors of the church opened, and this time it was the turn of his children to make the entrance. Holding the basket that contained the rings, Ariel and Lucas entered stealing smiles and sighs from their cuteness. Lucas wore a black jumpsuit and his hairstyle in a tutu made him cute and adorable. Ariel, with her reddish-brown hair and white dress with pink flowers strewn on the skirt, walked like a princess.
They didn't look like two children who liked to play all the time. They walked on the velvet carpet and smiled as their parents waited for them crouched.
Jake then began to cry for good. Nathaniel took a handkerchief from his jacket pocket and dried the tears of his fiancé, while the children looked at him curiously.
— Don't cry, daddy!
— Yes, boo-boo goes away.
— Haha, daddy is not hurt, daddy is happy. That's all.
After containing the joy, the ceremony continued, with each of them repeating their vows and being blessed by their guests. The ceremony was beautiful, full of smiles and tears of joy.
And when the words of the priest finally sounded, Jake felt relieved.
— I declare you, now husband and husband — Noticing the look filled with expectation of the alpha, the priest released a low laugh — Now you can kiss.
— Yay!
While the guests laughed at Jake's response, the alpha wasted no time in holding Nathaniel's waist and kissing him. The guests applauded and the children looked at their parents with surprise.
— Daddy is kissing daddy! — Lucas pointed surprised.
— You can't see! — Ariel covered the twin brother's eyes.
Jake and Nathaniel laughed, crouching down to hug their children and also leave a kiss on their cheeks.
After the wedding, all the guests were received in the ballroom. There, Rapoxia, led by Matheus, made the sale of Jake's tie and many other jokes with them. Guilherme, on the other hand, preferred to keep the children playing with them in the playground. The beta simply loved to be surrounded by the nephews and other children, and so he ended up making friends with Theodore who was also nearby.
Jake and Nathaniel took pictures with all the guests, and also danced their first waltz. Then the music selection made everyone have fun. Arabella and Loreto showed the beautiful pair they made by dancing forró. Jake's friends, Carolina and Fernanda were not left behind to dance funk and show the beautiful roll that they had.
Nathaniel was not a dancer, but he enjoyed the party by talking with the guests and playing with the children as well. There was no one to stand at that party, and everyone had fun.
One moment in the evening, while the party was still going on, Jake and Nathaniel went to a quieter room where they made the children sleep. They were clinging to their parents' necks, with red faces from running and playing.
— Today they mend the night. — Jake said, holding Ariel and pulling the loop of her hair so she slept comfortable.
— Less work for my mother — Nathaniel whispered, rubbing his finger lightly on the face of Lucas, who slept peacefully — They came in so cute in the church, I'm looking forward to see the photos and footage.
— We can frame some photos, what do you think?
— It would be a good idea.
Jake hugged Nathaniel's waist and kissed his cheek. The omega was slightly flushed, but smiled content with the affection.
— Thank you for coming into my life, baby. You make me the happiest man in the world, and I want to make you feel that way for the rest of our lives.
Nathaniel looked up at Jake and smiled wide, his head against the alpha's shoulder.
— I love you so much, Jake.
— And I love you too much, Nath.
