Chapter 92 - The Crew Arrives

"Our destination is in sight everyone," Theef called from the captain's seat.

The rest of the crew stopped what they were doing and went to check out the sight.

"All this time travelling between planets, yet it doesn't seem like I'll get used to it," Null commented.

"I must say, this is quite the spectacle considering I've always viewed planets from a telescope," Klein said.

"I wonder what we'll get into on this planet seeing as we delved into the world of mofei," Barter's Ruler wondered.

Needless to say, they had no idea what they were getting into.

"Let's hope the guys we're looking for are easy to find like with Klein," Null sighed.

"Entering the atmosphere now," Theef called out.

The rest of the crew found a spot to brave the turbulence that came with the landing process.

The rumbling of the ship was nothing like when they were flying the old, shoddy ship.

In comparison, it was like the difference between a roller coaster and a massage chair.

And with that, the crew arrived on the surface of Planet Lokhil simple as that.

This time there was no greeting to mess up the peaceful landing in a relatively open plot of land.

Upon exiting, they immediately surveilled the surroundings to verify that there was nothing dangerous or the like.

"Why can't we just ride the ship around to search for any signs of civilization?"

Klein while growing up in the middle of the forest was ready to return to the concrete jungle he was used to.

"No can do little buddy. After the crash all of the electronic devices. including the surveillance display, were destroyed, so we're out of luck until we reach a planet with some technological advancements," Theef dropped the news.

"Well can't we just search through the windows? I don't see why we have to-," Klein was stopped.

"Relax Klein," Null clasped his shoulder, "It'll be just like our journey on your world. Only this time we get to discover a whole new ecosystem!"

The scientist in Klein was riled up at that sentiment, "Alright! You got me. Let's hurry up and find the two flames residing on this planet."

"Right then. How do you suppose we venture forwards from here?"

Null stared dumbly in the face of Barter's Ruler, "...,"

"Split up?"

The rest of the crew looked at each other and sighed.

"Maybe we should just take the ship after all," Barter's Ruler said.

They all collectively went back into the ship and readied themselves to travel strictly in the skies at a moderate speed.

"I don't know why we couldn't just wander around exploring the place," Null pouted.

"We should be hurrying before anything happens to these people you care so much about," Theef pleaded.

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

While flying, they took note of the sparse creatures and plant life as they were foreign in nature.

Klein took it upon himself to analyze the scenery.

"It seems the environment of this planet is harsher than mine. The plant diversity is low and the little creatures we've seen have been minimal."

"Oh come on Klein. You can't seriously be right about that fom just looking," Null chided.

"It's not really complex. Either the planet has recently been endowed with land, or its species have trouble with biodiversity."

"Seeing as we have yet to come across any sentient creatures, I'm almost worried our companions have been reborn as critters."

"You spoke too soon," Theef pointed in a direction.

"No way. There is no way a place like this should have an advanced species at this rate of advancement."

"It is one thing to note the wildlife, but one must never underestimate the forces of nature," Barter's Ruler gave some words of wisdom.

Theef swiftly landed the ship a ways away from the civilization and the crew began their trek to meet the inhabitants.

Upon reaching the base of the civilization, they were met with guards who shouted at them.

"Who are you and where did you come from!"

With the translators that the crew had, they could understand them.

"How many of these do you have? And where did they come from," Klein asked.

Theef replied, "Enough. They really give these things out to promote togetherness. They're practically free depending on where you go."

The translators in question were the same he used when he first met Null.

They were small and light made from a rather tough material, and they fit perfectly no matter who used them.

It was a wonder how Theef kept them on his person, but no one questioned it as they worked wonders.

"We come in peace! We're looking for a couple of friends of ours is all," Null was the first to speak up.

The miraculous translator was also able to redirect any form of speech into an understandable message to another.

So even when he spoke another language, the translator made it possible to restate that language into the desired form for others to understand.

"Friends you say. Who are they?"

That line totally stumped the crew as they had no idea who they were looking for and if they were even in this place.

"Let us just search the area for them. I'll know it when I see them."

"Ha! You think I will fall for an obvious ruse like that! We saw clearly the flying object you traveled in. You must be trying to take over our glorious civilization!"

The guards took to warning the rest of the civilization with a bell that appeared out of nowhere.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The guards immediately fell back as the battle-ready troops arrived to see who the source of the warning was.

"Who goes there!"

The crew took note of how the bell previously came out of nowhere because on arrival, the troops that came forth summoned their weapon Livelli at once.

The eyebrows of the crew jumped as the realization that the people of this planet could summon items at will.

"This is gonna be epic!"
