In a Divine floating palace, a woman's soft cries rang out, making even the heavens weep. The beautiful, but sad noise brought about a powerful voice that seemed to shake the earth and cause the stars to react in reverence.
"My love, you must endure, our son is almost here! I know you can do it! Push once more!"
"AHHHH!" The woman screamed, and at the moment the baby was passed through.
BOOM!
The Heavens reacted in full force. A powerful golden light cut through the dark clouds that hung around the Divine Palace. The light then turned to 3 Heavenly Locks, formed by the Heavens themselves. Slowly, they began to descend to the newly born baby.
"None shall be born with this talent. You defy the Law of the Heavens. All talents shall be locked, Cultivation and Ascension made impossible for you." A cold robotic voice rang out, shattering the sky above and sending the natural energies of the world into a frenzy.
As the Heavenly Locks descended on the baby boy he slowly opened his eyes, a bright majestic gold color piercing through everything. The feeling made you feel as though everything was laid bare before him, a newborn. It was impossible to fathom.
The newborn's father, Takashi, roared to the skies forming a sky-shattering palm strike made of Cosmic energy and unleashing it toward the Heavenly Locks. Upon contact the world shook and time seemed to freeze, all colors from the world vanished and a massive explosion shot out in all directions. But alas, it meant nothing, the Locks continued to descend completely unaffected.
The baby's mother, Lysandra, wept a tear of pure starlight that slowly landed on her son's cheek. The moment of contact changed everything. As though a catalyst, the baby absorbed it unleashing all of his talents before they could be sealed.
SHIINNG!
A massive golden sword appeared above the baby as though there to be wielded by a God. The baby then reached out his small hand and made a grasping motion towards it. Instantly reacting, the sword made a slashing motion aiming towards the enormous Locks.
'Sunder the Heavens and Shatter the Earth' Is what the baby heard in his small head before all hell broke loose.
Then, the entire Plane froze, a fear of death gripping every single one of the trillions of beings living on this highest plane of the universe. BOOM! A perfect diagonal slash appeared across each of the Locks, cutting directly through them as a hot knife would butter. All while a divine white light flashed through the slash marks.
Slowly the Heaven Made Locks dissipated. But before they could vanish, all the leftover energy shot to the sky forming a massive blob of golden energy. Then the Heavens spoke once more.
"Rebelling against the Law of Heaven leads to death by tribulation."
The golden energy instantly turned to lightning and blasted downwards toward the baby. All hope seemed finally lost, any who dared to even touch a small portion of this energy would instantly be turned to ash. This was a form of Tribulation none could survive, however, the baby's parents still tried. Forming their best defensive arts around themselves as they stood above their baby to protect him. They looked each other in the eyes and shed a few tears as they smiled and roared to the Heavens.
'Sunder, shatter, destroy, let none stop you. You have your own will, you choose your fate, you choose your destiny. Who dares to stand in your way? Who dares to take your family? Before you, there is no genius, there is no ultimate power, you are that power. So, I will tell you this once more... FLIP THE HEAVENS! SHAPE THE EARTH! CONTROL THE UNIVERSE! YOU ARE RYUTO AMASTUKAZE HOSHINOMORI!'
A beautiful sword hymn shook the universe, as if this was the awakening of the Sword Emperor. Golden light shot from Ryu's body covering his Mother and Father and in the next moment he switched positions with them. There, in the sky above a massive Divine Palace, a baby boy still wrapped in his nursing blanket floated, facing a Heavenly Tribulation of a caliber never seen before. His calm, calculating look would shake any soul if they could see it. None would think a baby just born mere minutes ago could make such a look.
Ryu reached his hand to the sky and his body shown gold, the Vault of the Sky then trembled, beautiful Hymns falling from above, as though Seraphs were responding to their master. Then, a blood-red color coated the sky covering the golden color the Heavenly Tribulation dyed the skies. 'I bow only to my parents and those I Love. No one else is allowed to command me. So to you, the Heavens, I say...BREAK!'
Another massive explosion shook the Universe. The golden tribulation clashed with the Divine Golden Sword shrouded in a blood-red energy. Every spark formed from the collision shot off into the distance, decimating everything in its path. The plane was being altered by the clash of unfathomable power.
Then after 3 minutes of clashing, as if it never appeared, the Gold Lightning was eradicated from the skies and disappeared.
All looked to the sky, astonished at the sight. From across the Universe, all were watching with whatever means they could, and all were shocked to their core. Then, something they could have never expected happened once more.
"Heavenly Intervention has been overextended. Fate has been shifted. You, the one that dares defy the Law of Heaven have been sentenced to a change of Fate. You shall die young, on a terrible battlefield, then your memory will be lost in the sands of time, remembered only as one of the many trillions of geniuses that died too young. That is your Fate. The Heavens have declared your Punishment in this form. Heavenly Equilibrium has been restored."
The sky cracked and the energies of the world lost any calmness still left. Ravishing the world as though a great attack was launched at the entire Plane. Finally, after hours it ended. All while the little Ryu floated amidst the most disastrous area of the Energy Storm, completely unaffected. His beautiful golden eyes shone a dangerous light that seemed to understand what had just happened. And then that light vanished, replaced by the look of a newborn with no understanding of anything.
The small Ryu then descended from the skies still shrouded in a golden energy with an outer red energy coating him as though protecting him. His parents stared deeply at their son. And, though they tried not to, tears fell from their faces.
They were immensely saddened, they had just watched their newborn fight off 2 different calamities sent by the heavens, and they could do nothing but watch. They knew that even a stray strand of energy would turn them to dust, erased from the universe with no chance of reincarnation. They felt they failed as parents, even more so as he was just born.
Right then and there they vowed once more they would make sure their son would live the best life possible.
And the little one they were talking about? Well, he fell calmly asleep, as though nothing had happened. And all the thoughts and voices that ran through his head? All locked away and forgotten, almost like they had never appeared in the first place.
This was the Prelude to the event that would later be known as The Great Shift. This was the beginning of Ryu's Story. This would be the beginning of a new Era, the Golden Era, but, who knows, maybe later generations will call it something else. Only one way to know...so lets find out.
