Just as she said this, Maxwell Hughes looked up at her.
Violet Taylor was confused by his reaction.
She looked down at herself, saw nothing out of the ordinary, and continued to ask, "Is that okay?"
Attending the annual meeting as Daisy Jade was somewhat inappropriate, so she still wanted to ask for Maxwell Hughes's opinion first.
If he didn't agree, she wouldn't go.
Unexpectedly, upon hearing her request, Maxwell Hughes fell silent for a moment before responding, "Yes."
