He sat across the dining table, raising his eyes to look at her, his features serene and quiet. Yet, within that tranquility, there flooded a sensation that weighed heavy on her heart.
Trenton Smith lowered his eyes to sip his soup and asked softly, "What's wrong with looking at you?"
"Nothing," Norris Moore withdrew her gaze, poking at the cauliflower with her fork, "Anyway, I will try hard to remember everything while taking good care of the baby. Don't worry."
