Chapter 79 - The Final Strike (Part-1)

As the battle raged on, neither side showed signs of letting up. One side had immense numbers, while the other had quality and morale. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the meadows surrounding the capital, a man emerged—a man with such a strong presence that Hedin, Asten, Aoi, and every elite could recognize him. Hedin couldn't help but think, Why the hell is he here?

Back in the castle, the battle between Alysa and Malacor reached its climax, with Alysa claiming Malacor's right arm. Malacor, gritting his teeth, growled, "You little... How did you do that?" He then used an orb to teleport away.

Meanwhile, on the outskirts, the man spoke: "Looks like the battle isn't going that well. Now... the ultimate blade, Durendal, slash through all that stand in my way! Now, ultimate strike!"

His slash was so powerful that it killed every undead at the entrance of the capital. However, the attack stopped exactly at the entrance and did not harm any of the knights. The man, satisfied, left, drinking a bottle of wine. That should be enough to help Asten through, he thought to himself. Damn that idiot...

As the battle raged on, Asten thought to himself, It's about time.

Astrea, fighting with all his might, suddenly heard a cry. It was a little girl who had been hurt, and the undead soldiers were about to reach her. Just as the undead soldiers were about to attack, Astrea stood in front of her, blocking the strike. As he faced the girl, he smiled and said, "Don't cry, it's okay."

Meanwhile, Aoi saw Astrea and was horrified as blood poured from his back. Aoi shouted, "Now, blade magic, countless strikes!" and launched innumerable blades towards the undead soldiers. She then asked, "Astrea, are you okay?"

Astrea, with a pained smile, replied, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Aoi said, "Anew, come here!" Anew arrived, horrified to see Astrea's condition. She said, "I can heal a bit, but this is beyond me."

Anew began using Enchantment Magic, Healing Life, and the wound started to close up a bit. Aoi said, "This isn't enough."

Roy, arriving on the scene, said, "I'm here now. Star Magic, Gentle Grace!" The magic healed Astrea, and his wounds began to close up.

Roy smiled and said, "Now it's time for me to join the fray. Grandmaster, let's join forces for the final strike."

Asten, looking over at Roy, said, "Oh, Roy, so you're finally here, huh?"

Roy, with a grin, replied, "Sorry I'm late. Now, let's join for the final strike."
