Amyra's hands strained as she tried to break another piece of wood for a fire in the stark night she had been caught in. The clouds were dark, splotchy, and covered most of the night sky to where the waning gibbous moon's light had barely been visible through their misty curtains.
This had set her back badly, for she required those land marks and the coast-line that Dagon had laid out in order to find her way. Without the knowledge of where she was; she had no idea of where to go.
Fuck.
The knowledgeable woman held back tears as frustration started to take over her once cool demeanor that seemed to have cracked away in such a short time. This was not the person she had ever wanted to be - and she was not the woman she once knew. Something dark had taken over her entirely now. There wasn't any fun, whimsy, or joy in her soul left that could make this moment any less shitty than it was...so...here she sat. Miserable. Angry. Hopeless.
