(Third Person POV)
On the field outside Hargeon, Jellal, and Gray were fighting off waves of soldiers that swarmed them from the town as Laxus and Wahl Icht fought.
It had been almost half an hour since both Shields were encountered and had engaged in combat. Both groups were locked in serious combat. Erza and Kagura engaged Neinhart in combat as Laxus decided to fight Wahl Icht while Gray and Jellal dealt with the thousands of soldiers that were swarming them.
They had noticed that several buildings were destroyed completely, a result of the fight.
"Damn." Gray said, "I wanted to help Laxus with the fight but there's no end to these guys!"
Jellal nodded, "I wished to aid Erza as well, but I have to lure all of the army out here so Jason can bombard them." He said, "But there's no end to them, like you said."
Gray fired off ice at the soldiers, "I wonder if Milliana and the others are okay." He said
"Don't worry." Jellal told him as he punched soldiers away, "Ultear and Meredy are with them, they're fine."
"That's a relief." Gray replied
Suddenly, a massive explosion erupted from the edge of the town, dwarfing the buildings and shattered the ground. The shockwave sent the soldiers that swarmed both Jellal and Gray flying away.
"Shit." Gray said, "What the hell was that?"
"This whole time, Laxus's magic power had been fluctuating..." He said, "I wonder if he's alright."
"I hope he is." Gray said, "But he's fucking strong, he'll manage somehow."
As he said that, another massive explosion erupted, this time, it was an explosion of red lightning that dwarfed the town's buildings and shone brightly. The immense magic power that was felt from the explosion was so immense that Gray and Jellal were both surprised.
"This magic power." Gray said, "Is it Laxus???"
Jellal squinted his eyes, "Look!" He said
He pointed to a figure that flew out of the explosion, slowly falling down into the ground near them, crashing hard and causing a powerful shockwave.
"Whoa.." Gray said
From the dust cloud, Wahl Icht appeared, he was in his Assault Mode and was damaged severely.
"S...S-Shit!" Wahl said as he limped, "What was that power?"
Suddenly, there was a bright flash of red as something blurred past Wahl.
"Megaton: Red Lightning!!!!"
Laxus appeared behind Wahl, his fist extended as red lightning crackled around him. His entire body was filled with cuts and bruises, bleeding badly. Suddenly, Wahl's entire body exploded with red lightning as a huge hole in his mid-section appeared.
"Aghghh!!!" Wahl screamed out as he flew upwards
Laxus then turned around as he engulfed himself in the red lightning as Wahl fell to the ground.
"Take this!!!" Laxus growled as he swung his fist down at the machia
He drove his fist down into his head, firing off an immense amount of lightning that exploded outwards and completely disintegrated completely. The attack was so strong that it caused a shockwave that sent every soldier around them flying away.
"Wahl-sama!!!" Several soldiers shouted in unison
With this, Wahl Icht was defeated.
Laxus took a step back as he panted heavily, red lightning crackling around him.
"Laxus!" Gray exclaimed
"He defeated a Shield?!" Jellal exclaimed
Laxus then collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
As this happened, several soldiers began to charge at him.
"Kill him!!" they all shouted
Gray scowled, "Dammit!!" He said, "No you don't!!"
"Ice Make: Spear!!"
He shot several spear projectiles at them, freezing them in their tracks.
"Gray!" Jellal said, "Go and get Laxus out of here! I'll lure all of the soldiers further into the field and call for Jason's bombardment!!"
Gray began to run towards Laxus, who was lying on his back, "Okay!" He said, "I'll get him outta here!"
Jellal then turned around to see more soldiers charging at him, "Damn you all." He said seriously,
"There's no end to you..."

"Erza...." Kagura said, "He's stronger than we expected....."
"Yes..." Erza said while panting slightly
Erza was in her Heaven's Wheel Armor as Kagura had her sword drawn, facing Neinhart.
They had fought their way towards the port, forcing Neinhart back who was casually avoiding their attacks.
Neinhart looked up to the sky, "Hmm...." He said, "Wahl's magic power disappeared...don't tell me he was killed...."
Erza widened her eyes, "That means Laxus and Gray defeated him..." She said
"That leaves one more..." Kagura said, "Erza...let's finish him..."
Neinhart then began to chuckle, "Hmph!" He said, "I am not like Wahl, I will not go down so easily. After all, I haven't shown you my true power."
That was a true statement. This whole time, Neinhart had been only using elemental magic against them, casually firing wind and fire magic at them whilst dodging their attacks. He had yet to used his Historia of The Dead, the true power of this particular Shield of Spriggan.
"Oh is that so?" Erza asked, "Then prepare yourself! We'll defeat you right here and now!"
Neinhart was going to say something when he heard a loud static come from his pocket.
"Hm?" He said taking it out, "Yes?"
"Pull back." a voice said, "Wahl has been defeated and Dimaria is on her way to aid you."
"Oh, if she's coming, I'll gladly stay here and fight." He said, "I cannot wait to punish these lowly mages for underestimating me."
"Direct orders of His Majesty." the voice said, "He said to retreat, so you'll retreat. Do it now. Dimaria will handle them."
"Huh?" Neinhart with a scowl, "How is Dimaria going to handle these? Eh?"
"Shut up and retreat." the voice said with a firm tone, "Don't make me go there myself, Neinhart."
The transmission was then cut off.
"Tch!" Neinhart said, "That old bastard...."
He then placed his lacrima away as he gave Kagura and Erza an annoyed look.
"It appears our fun has been cut short." He said, "I'll see you all later."
He suddenly disappeared.
Kagura narrowed her eyes, "Teleportation Magic?" she said, "What was that about?"
Erza shrugged, "Don't know." she said, "But the voice mentioned that there's enemy reinforcements on their way."
"We have to warn the others."
