Electric bolts lit up the sky as Serena bolted across the battlefield, her body crackling with power. She zipped around Kirihai like lightning given form, launching blast after blast of charged electricity. At her side, Sukuna soared through the air, matching Serena's aggression with a fiery brilliance of her own, trails of burning green plasma surging from her hands and legs. Their coordinated assault lit up the city ruins as explosions rocked the surroundings.
But Kirihai? She was just… having fun.
The woman darted between their attacks with an almost playful grace, her lips curved into a wild grin. "I haven't had this much fun in ages," she laughed, twisting through the air as electricity and plasma narrowly missed her with each step.
Suddenly, Sukuna burst forward, her body ablaze with glowing plasma energy. She let out a yell and unleashed a massive surge of power straight at Kirihai. The explosion that followed shattered dozens of buildings, the shockwave spreading like a storm. "Damn! I have to keep the damage to a bere minimum." Sukuna muttered to herself.
Smoke and debris filled the air. Sukuna dropped to her knees, panting. "Damn it... I used too much power... I can't even stand..."
Serena landed beside her, concerned. "You shouldn't have pushed yourself that hard," she said, helping her sit upright.
As the smoke began to clear, Kirihai's voice rang out again, unscathed and amused. "Not bad... not bad at all. But I expected more."
Serena and Sukuna stared in disbelief. Kirihai stood there with a grin, hands on her hips. "I'll tell you what," she said. "Let's play a little game. If you two can make me draw my sword, I'll turn myself in. But if you can't…" Her tone turned sharp. "Then I'll beat the crap out of both of you."
Serena clenched her fists, sparks flaring around her. "Tch… you're a cocky bitch, aren't you?" Her voice thundered with rage as she surged forward, electricity enveloping her body like a thunderstorm given form.
"Oh?" Kirihai smirked, slipping a kunai from her pocket. "Then show me what you've got."
Their clash was a blur of motion—Serena striking like lightning, Kirihai matching her blow for blow, kunai flashing through the air with deadly precision. Buildings crumbled under the pressure of their fight, shockwaves ripping through the city.
Serena launched electric bullets with rapid precision. Kirihai dodged, weaving through them while slicing others apart with her blade. Serena roared as she charged a massive current into her fist and lunged.
"Infinite Pierce!" Kirihai shouted, summoning glowing kunai made of pure energy and hurling them with unrelenting speed.
Serena barely managed to dodge the barrage, narrowly avoiding impalement before she drove her electrified fist into the ground—right where Kirihai had stood.
An explosion tore through the area.
As the smoke faded, Serena's eyes widened. Kirihai had caught her fist mid-strike. Her grip was strong, her eyes gleaming with thrill.
"You're really something. Blowing debris on all over the place to block my sight," Kirihai said calmly, then launched Serena through multiple buildings with a powerful kick. Before Serena could even crash down, Kirihai blurred into motion, unleashing a flurry of punches so fast Serena couldn't react "GAHHA! What the... she's so fast.", Serena mumbled to herself. The final strike sent her into the ground like a meteor.
Kirihai stood over her, breathing steadily. "Your strength is no joke… but strength alone doesn't win fights. You lack experience. And im above you in terms of skills. Not just that, I'm faster than you are."
She raised her kunai, ready to kill Serena "Ypu were fun, both younand your green haired friend there.Hopefully, you don't die from this strike."
SHHHHHHNK!
A volley of crystal daggers shot toward Kirihai from behind. She leapt away in time, narrowly avoiding being skewered. Her grin widened. Serena and Sukuna were stunned "Crystals?"
"Well now," she said, turning around. "A new challenger?"
Raquel stood at the edge of the battlefield, crystal energy coursing through her arms. "If you value your life," she said coldly, "you'll leave. Now."
Kirihai's eyes sparkled. "You look like a toy that won't break so easily. I like that."
Crystals encased Raquel's fists. "You talk like you're all that. If that's the case, then come and break me."
Meanwhile, high above the battlefield…
Sorata stood atop a crumbling skyscraper, the wind tossing his purple short sleeved jacket and his spikey purple hair, he surveyed the burning city below. His expression was unreadable. "It's crazy, because In a matter of time, the destroyed streets and buildings would be restored in less than a week. Not just that, but the top tiers of the city aren't around, including Kojin. Looks like we struck at the right time."
Suddenly—a fireball screamed through the sky.
Sorata stepped aside calmly, letting the attack explode behind him and engulf a dozen buildings in flame. His smile widened.
"That fire… Sōn, is that you?"
A figure burst through the flames, flying toward him with trails of fire scorching the sky. Son released a wave of blinding heat, launching an inferno at Sorata. The elder brother responded with an evil smirk and a burst of violet energy, his destructive aura clashing with Sōn's flames in a blast that shattered the structure beneath them.
Leaping down, Sorata landed smoothly as Sōn hovered before him.
"Been a while," Sorata said. "Look at you, all grown up."
Sōn's eyes narrowed. "What happened to you? Why are you doing this? BIG BRO SAITO!"
Sorata chuckled. "Doing what, exactly?"
"You know what I mean," Sōn snapped. "What happened to you? Why are you joining criminals to destroy the city?! The city you grew up in!"
"Still stuck on the past?" Sorata smirked. "Let me guess—Kojin was too ashamed to face me, so he sent you instead?"
"I came on my own," Sōn said firmly. "And I'm here to stop you."
Sorata's tone dropped, eyes narrowing with power. "I'd love to catch up, really. But I've got things to do. Missions to complete."
"Whatever that plan is," Sōn replied, igniting his flames, "I won't let you pull it off.". Sōn looked like a deadly spawn from hell fire.
With a roar, he charged forward, hurling fire with all his might. Sorata countered with a surge of destructive energy. Their powers collided in a blinding explosion that incinerated everything around them—flames and purple energy ripping the city around them apart.
"You've gotten better," Sorata said, brushing dust from his jacket "But your flame output needs work."
Before Sōn could reply, he flashed behind Sorata with a punch ready—but Sorata turned and blasted him mid-air. Seven buildings disintegrated in the attack, entire city blocks reduced to rubble. Sorata's arm was releasing smoke as his arm was slowly burning.
Sōn groaned, trapped beneath the debris.
Sorata stood over him, smiling coldly. "I want to see how far you've come, little brother. And maybe, just maybe… I'll tell you why I ended up like this."
