"In the Prime Material Plane, I can still wield my full power."
After the tests, Garon confirmed his previous thoughts.
The suppression of the Prime Material Plane no longer existed for him? Even if Garon were to announce this, it would be a terrifying capability that gods and many demigod-level beings would find hard to believe.
Even beings of the Lord of Terror's level, upon descending to the Prime Material Plane, had to abide by its suppression rules and couldn't break them.
Gods and demigod-level beings in the Prime Material Plane were limited to demi-god power—this was an ironclad rule, unshakable and unchangeable.
Even during the Second Dawn War.
Countless gods and primordials waged a massive war on the Prime Material Plane, causing the extinction of billions of beings and the collapse of countless worlds, only slightly raising the suppression limit for gods and primordials, but still not reaching the level of weak gods.
Now, I have broken this ironclad rule. If I wanted to commit evil, I could collapse the Prime Material Plane, extinguish the faith of the gods, and weaken and kill them.
Even if all the gods together—no, all gods and demigod-level beings—couldn't stop me, I possess unparalleled potential to become the ultimate demon god. The silver dragon lifted his head, closed his eyes, and stretched out his arms in an embrace of the world, feeling the path ahead widen and the future grow brighter.
Gaining strength little by little, feeling the shackles that once limited him disappear, and gradually gaining control over everything was somewhat intoxicating for Garon.
The silver dragon exhaled slowly and opened his eyes.
His inner turmoil gradually calmed, and Garon reined in his restless mind.
Having now become an ancient dragon and experienced much, Garon was very stable in temperament and mind, yet he couldn't entirely ignore this self-induced agitation.
"Now, in the Prime Material Plane, I can be considered the undisputed king."
"No one can rival me."
Garon thought calmly.
Previously, with his unparalleled combat prowess, Garon had defeated many stronger beings in the Prime Material Plane, but he knew he wasn't truly invincible there. For instance, during the Dawn War, the performances of top-tier beings like the Nine-Faced Dragon God, the Haotian Emperor, and the Lord of Terror made Garon feel inferior.
But now, the situation was different.
Garon was genuinely invincible in the Prime Material Plane.
This invincibility wasn't just one-on-one—even if countless gods descended together, they couldn't rival the Time Dragon who could wield his full power in the Prime Material Plane.
"The main god doesn't know when he will find the astral core. Before that, let's try controlling the River of Time in the Prime Material Plane."
To control the River of Time, one didn't necessarily need to become the plane's ruler. Becoming the ruler would enhance efficiency, but it wasn't essential.
Even without the plane's will acknowledging or assisting him, Garon could gradually influence the River of Time and bring it under his control in his own way.
If he could first control the River of Time in one plane, whether he became the plane's ruler would be irrelevant, as the plane's ruler would not compare to Garon, the master of time and space. The plane itself, enveloped by the River of Time, existed on a concept lower than the River of Time.
In all the plane worlds of the Great Ring Multiverse, the Prime Material Plane could be considered the most special.
Thus, Garon once again assumed his true form, his manifestation of time, and in the River of Time, the vast, boundless Time Dragon stretched his wings, enveloping the Noah Continent, the Prime Material world, and, centering on the Noah Continent, emitting strands of time power imprinted with Garon's spirit, merging inch by inch with the surrounding River of Time.
This was akin to staining the sea drop by drop, a gradual accumulation of control.
Though not highly efficient, every effort brought stable returns, providing enough feedback for Garon to accept it, as he currently had no better way to control the River of Time.
While he focused on expanding his control.
Garon diverted a bit of his spiritual will, using the River of Time as a medium, silently observing his Faceless Avatar, which had already left the Great Ring Multiverse and was now in the Olympus Multiverse.
. . .
Olympus Multiverse.
The calm, rippling Aegean Sea shone under the pale golden sunlight, as if draped in a faintly gilded blue curtain. The waves, striped and surging, carried the scent and coolness of the sea breeze.
Flocks of seagulls skimmed the sky, their shadows racing across the sea along with schools of fish.
It was a beautiful day.
Suddenly, the flock of seagulls in flight froze for a moment, but in the next second, they continued flying as if nothing had happened.
Only, among the hundreds of seagulls, an extra one appeared unnoticed.
"Squawk?"
A seagull, flying, looked at the suddenly appeared 'seagull' in the flock, startled, fluttering its wings wildly and almost falling, then looked at the 'seagull' with a puzzled expression, squawking incessantly.
This 'seagull' was Garon in disguise, having arrived in the Olympus Multiverse and immediately transformed into a seagull to avoid alerting the local gods. He appeared indistinguishable from a regular seagull.
The seagull Garon, with a tuft of hair on his head swaying in the wind, turned to look at the squawking seagull.
The seagull in his view also had a tuft of hair, as Garon had transformed to look just like it.
Although seagulls weren't intelligent beings and didn't have a structured language, the communication methods of near-god-level beings had long transcended the limitations of language, making their meanings clear.
Squawk!
The seagull with snow-white feathers edged with some black squawked again.
Though it was just one sound, in Garon's ears, it translated to a specific expression—Hey buddy, where are you from? How do you look exactly like me and suddenly appear out of nowhere? You scared me.
The seagull Garon looked at the other's 'intelligent' eyes, the tuft on his head moving.
Whap!
With a flap of his wings, Garon slapped the other seagull, sending it spinning in midair, dizzy.
Squawk—Who cares where I'm from?
The poor seagull, dizzy, managed to steady itself and, looking at the identical 'seagull,' couldn't help but shrink back, not daring to speak again, softly chirping—Why so fierce? Scared me.
If this seagull ever became a powerful magical creature and understood what happened today, it could proudly declare: I once flew with an outer god and survived an attack from one!
Garon, leisurely flying with the flock, fully extended his senses, analyzing the local conditions.
". There are hardly any magical creatures, mostly ordinary creatures."
"The world's rules have some restrictions, but not as oppressive as the Prime Material Plane of the Great Ring Multiverse. The limit here is around weak god level."
"Unfortunately, I don't have the passive immunity to plane suppression like my main body."
As an avatar transformed from the Faceless King, even with the temporal power given by Garon and the ability to transform into a Time Dragon, his essence still couldn't reach the rank of a Time Dragon and didn't have the immunity to plane suppression, even when transformed into a Time Dragon.
The tufted seagull's small eyes showed intelligence as it gazed at the boundless ocean.
"The ocean is filled with divine energy."
"A powerful god, with authority related to the ocean and perhaps some storms, but mainly oceanic."
Feeling the caress of the sea breeze, Garon pondered silently.
"Could it be Poseidon, one of the twelve main gods of Olympus?"
Garon recalled the information the Eternal Sun had given him about the gods of Olympus.
(This is an amendment: Garon's pre-transmigration world can be understood as a parallel Earth, without corresponding myths, similar to the Valoran continent.)
There were quite a few gods in this multiverse, but the ruling ones were the twelve main gods of Olympus. Poseidon, the sea god, was one of them. Notably, Poseidon was Zeus's brother, making his status among the twelve main gods rather special.
"The sea is under his jurisdiction. This strong divine presence should be Poseidon."
One of the twelve main gods, and Zeus's brother, I wonder what his exact godhood level is. It shouldn't be low. Perhaps I can test the waters of Olympus through Poseidon. But before that, I should gather more information. While the ordinary seagulls around were thinking about how to get food for the day, the tufted seagull Garon thought.
Meanwhile, the tufted seagull's eyes flashed, momentarily turning platinum and then reverting.
At this moment, the tufted seagull, essentially a Faceless King transformed into a Time Dragon and then using a normal transformation spell, could now use Time Dragon abilities.
The feathers mimicked from dragon scales had an almost imperceptible luster, gently flowing and brushing the River of Time.
Countless information, through the local River of Time, flooded into Garon's mind, scenes and images from the Olympus Multiverse reflecting in the depths of Garon's eyes.
Green, overlapping mountains, vast oceans, lush forests, various birds and beasts, human cities and nations, bustling streets... and a towering,
divine radiance-shrouded, peak-hidden, other-dimensional, majestic mountain.
"Mount Olympus, where the gods reside."
Observing the majestic mountain from a god-like perspective, Garon thought calmly.
Unlike the Great Ring Multiverse, the Olympus Multiverse didn't have many plane worlds. The gods primarily resided in the divine realm, also known as heaven, located at the peak of Mount Olympus.
"Heaven, is it a plane-level divine kingdom shared by the gods, or a plane like the outer planes?"
With this question, Garon's gaze moved up the mountain, reaching the peak.
At the peak of Mount Olympus, at the center, stood a tall, silent humanoid stone statue.
It stood nine meters tall, clad in armor, with hands crossed over the hilt of a great sword, the blade pointing down, half-buried in the mountain, leaving only the hilt exposed up to the statue's waist.
The statue's eyes were hollow but exuded an intimidating aura, as if overlooking the sea of clouds from the mountaintop.
"A weak god-level guardian."
Garon zoomed in, staring directly at the statue guardian's face, observing the weathered marks from wind and rain, while sensing the vitality within.
If any outsider reached the peak, they would first face this guardian.
The statue guardian, unaware of Garon's spying through the River of Time, remained silently vigilant.
Meanwhile, Garon sensed a spatial barrier at the peak.
"Should I spy on heaven?"
Garon entertained this idea.
However, after pinpointing the location of Mount Olympus and confirming the location of heaven, he decided to proceed cautiously.
If heaven was a plane-level divine kingdom and not an ordinary outer plane, when Garon's gaze penetrated the spatial barrier, reaching heaven, it would also alert the gods there.
The Faceless Garon couldn't use Temporal Reversal normally. If he caused significant trouble and faced the wrath of the Olympus gods, he would likely perish.
Moreover, the Faceless Garon's temporal power couldn't be replenished effectively and needed to be used sparingly.
Using the River of Time to discern the plane world's situations consumed little temporal power, but spying on divine kingdoms for information was more challenging.
"Establishing a Temporal Church in the Olympus Multiverse, spreading faith, and setting up Godhood Ranches seems difficult."
". The faith in this multiverse is under strict scrutiny by the twelve main gods. If I reveal myself rashly, I will quickly attract attention."
"How to establish a Temporal Church without alerting the gods of Olympus?"
"Let me think…"
Thoughts floated through Garon's mind.
As time passed, a dangerous glint appeared in the tufted seagull's eyes.
"Replace one of the twelve main gods, silently becoming one of them, then gradually change the doctrines, reshape the image, and let the 'Temporal Church' grow rooted from the original faith, flourishing and bearing fruit."
Taking over a nest, replacing a main god.
This was the best way to establish a foothold in a multiverse with a complete system and supreme ruling organization, and it was the specialty of the Faceless Garon.
