Jason was ready to leave when someone barged into his room.
" wow, you look as dashing as ever " a lady said with a smile on her face.
" Thanks Mom " Jason said looking at his mom who just barged in. Jason saw how she was looking at him with those eyes. He squinted one of his eye and said " What are looking at " . " I am just admiring your handsomeness " she said grinning.
" Mrs. Grace Dunlop are you falling in love with me " He teasingly asked.
" Oh my dear if you weren't two decades late and also my son, I would have married you " Grace said. " Oh really " Jason asked with doubt . " of course " Grace said confidently. "Any way Simon is waiting for you downstairs " Grace said as she began walking away. " Okay " .
Jason came down a little after his mother left.
" Dude what took you so long " Simon said annoyed at how long his friend took to get ready. " Stop talking and let's go " Jason said walking away from him. " Bye Aunt " he said and followed behind.
30 minutes later Jason and Simon were entering into the hotel. This was their Class reunion. Even though it was a class reunion, this event was mainly for them to gather around and compare each other and boost about their achievement.
The moment Jason and Simon entered, all the the girls began squealing, but a particular one just rolled her eyes. Jason just ignored their noise and approached the class president Jude. " Hi Jason, how have you been " Jude said shaking hands with Jason. " Am alright " came Jason's shot reply.
" Hey everyone since everybody is here, let's start the party by making a toast " at the end of Jude's sentence, everyone started to come closer. " Let's toast to a long time of friendship " Jude said and everyone raised their glass to toast. After the toast was made, Jason noticed a figure walking away.
He knew very well who it was but just kept staring. He had no idea someone was looking at him while he was staring hard at Annabelle.
The person who was looking at him was Sandra Williams. She had always had her eyes on Jason bit her didn't even notice her. Even Annabelle who never got along with Jason got more attention from him than her.
As irrational as she is, she decided to do something to Annabelle when Annabelle had never said anything to her.
Sandra stood on the side and stretched her leg out. When Annabelle was passing by her, she tripped. Annabelle grasp and closed her eyes tightly waiting for her face to fall down hard on the ground. She was waiting but it never came. A very enticing fragrance invaded her nostrils. She opened her eyes, and found herself secured in the strong arms of Jason.
