The voice echoed from above, sharp and commanding, catching Merciless off guard.
As the voice echoed, a brilliant light descended from above, overtaking him. The scarlet stein upon reality, as a result of Crimson Dawn, began to fade, its ominous presence retreating back the closer it came as it slowly began to be pushed back by something far greater.
From the heavens, a cascade of lights rained down, painting the world below in a spectrum of shifting, vivid hues. The landscape transformed, bathed in the radiant glow of countless colors, each one more dazzling than the last.
Of course this instantly caught Merciless attention.
His head snapped upward, his eyes narrowing as they scanned the skies. Then he saw it—a figure, or rather a spherical thing looming high above him, its form almost incomprehensible. Instinctively, his eyes passively tried to decipher it, to make sense of what stood before him.
