"For some reason, I bet you would have been prom queen if you weren't so troublesome." He says and I laugh.
"Tell me about your hobbies. I only know your fears, I don't know what delights you." He says and then adds, "Apart from food."
"Hey! I'm not so crazy about food."
"You're not?"
"Yeah, I'm not."
"I see, no wonder the two plates of cake has been completely cleaned up."
"That's because I'm talking!" I retort. "I eat more when I talk." He just laughs. "And cake is not food! It's more of a snack."
"Noted." He nods. "When did you learn how to use a crossbow?" He asks.
"I think when I was in middle school. It was among the extracurricular activities we could choose from. We didn't practice with real arrows though. But Skye chose sword and they used real swords. She always looks like a princess, but whenever she was practicing with her sword, she looked like an assassin." I say and he mutters something. It takes some seconds for his words to settle into my head.
