Quietly, Skye sips her tea, listening to my weird story.
"You see Skye, I tried to kill him at every turn," I see her eyes widen with surprise and a little amusement, "But he never retaliated. He just laughed it off and came up with a stupid way to make me stop trying to kill him. Skye, I'm a concubine here. At least that's what I'm supposed to be, but he hasn't touched me yet."
"You mean you two haven't done—" Her eyes are widening.
Of course she'll be surprised because that was what I was taken for, so it's a shock that that hasn't happened.
"Yes. We haven't. He says he won't force me. Instead, he_he seduces me." I close my eyes and bite down on my lower lip then I remember his words and I stop biting.
"He seduces you," she wants to chuckle. I can see it, but she humbly swallows it back.
"Yes Skye, he does things to me Skye. Not like wounding me or torturing me." I point out, "Maybe it would have been better if he did torture me." I mutter to myself.
