Taiyo's and Apollo's masks break off their faces.
Taiyo's demon form is a beastly sight, as for Apollo, his paladin form is an angelic and blessing sight.
Both releases parallel each other in different ways yet in a certain, unexplainable aspect, one could say they were the opposite sides of a coin.
Taiyo attacks Apollo with his claws
Apollo dodges each attack at light-speed.
Apollo then grabs Taiyo's face and drags it across the ground and up into the air where he dropkicks him back to the ground.
Aika pulls out her hand but Taiyo stops her.
"I'm ok. Go join Kinishi, I don't want you to see what happens next." Taiyo said looking forward at Apollo with seriousness in his eyes.
"Bu- ok." Aika says changing her words mid sentence after examining Taiyo's confidence.
-You probably shouldn't have done that- Kinryu says to Taiyo.
"Shut up." Taiyo whisper back silently.
After Aika goes far enough, Taiyo looks at Apollo with intense hate.
"Why so tense, You're gonna lose anyways." Apollo said as he leans forward.
Taiyo stays silent.
"All of this is none of your business, this is my country and you're just a foreigner. Why do you care about it so much? WHY? I DON'T GET IT!" Apollo yells as he dashes forward.
Taiyo blocks the attack and starts to clash with Apollo, repeatedly, just barely keeping up with Apollo.
Apollo starts to attack even stronger.
The clashing of first begins to create shockwaves that can be felt within a 20 mile radius.
*Taiyo..* Kinishi thinks in his head as the shockwaves hit his hair.
Aika stops going forward.
"Who do you think I am? I've already seen you do even worse things." Aika says as she looks back
She hides in the trees to watch Taiyo fight from a distance to make sure that he doesn't go out of control.
Apollo slashes off Taiyo's hand off.
Taiyo immediately uses the Inverted Technique but it isn't fast enough and he gets sent flying.
"So you do know how to use it." Apollo says as Taiyo sits there lifelessly against the tree.
Taiyo spits out blood.
"What does that have to do with you?" Taiyo says as he gets back up and as blood spills from his head.
Taiyo dashes forward.
Apollo backs up and smiles.
"Bio-kinetic burn."
Taiyo slashes Apollo on his cheek.
Apollo starts to burn inside.
*Not this move again." Apollo thinks as blood spills from his right eye.
2 hours remain.
Apollo holds back the burn by using the Inverted Technique.
Taiyo and Apollo continue to fight and clash fists
Taiyo and Apollo go flying in the air and clash there.
All that is seen are yellow and red flashes of light travelling through the forest at hypersonic speed.
Apollo constantly slashes off Taiyo's arms but Taiyo keeps growing it back.
Each time either of them touch the ground, they leave a scorch mark on the ground.
*I have to finish this as fast as I can...this form... has its risks.* Taiyo thinks to himself.
Taiyo kicks Apollo onto the ground.
He charges up a flaming fist using the cursed fire.
Apollo blocks the attack just barely with his hands.
His hands burn but he heals it back immediately.
Too much usage of the Inverted Technique can lead to your body going paralyzed.
And if you try to heal your paralyzed body using the Inverted Technique then the energy will come from your brain, and each use of the Inverted Technique from then on will damage your brain.
Both Taiyo and Apollo were reaching to this point.
Unless one of them gains a new form or something of the sort, they will go paralyzed.
1 hour and 20 minutes remain for both.
*Just a bit longer and I can make him reach his limit.*
Taiyo's right arm goes flying off mid clash
Taiyo lowers his Inverted Technique rate of healing.
Taiyo punches Apollo in the face with fist of cursed flames and burns off Apollo's cheek off.
They both go falling to the ground in the destroyed and burnt down forest.
Kinishi has beaten half of the soldiers at this point.
One the ground, Taiyo and Apollo lands standing.
Taiyo falls on one knee and holds his right arm that is almost done healing.
Apollo spits out blood and stumbles a bit.
*He's almost at his limit, but so am I* Taiyo thought to himself as his right arm finishes healing back.
*I have to stay standing...the ritual is almost done.. also, Taiyo is trying to rush this fight so that must mean one thing... if he doesn't finish this fight quickly then the demon will take over his body.* Apollo thought smiling with his hand over his head as blood spills out of his nose and eyes.
*This is/ This is/ The final stretch!!* Taiyo and Apollo thought at the same time as they go back to clashing again.
Taiyo rolls over Apollo and punches his face.
Apollo's head goes back but he kicks Taiyo in the face.
Taiyo goes on the ground but manages to dodge Apollo's next move.
1 hour remain.
Taiyo and Apollo goes back to clashing again.
Apollo punches Taiyo's face and sends him skidding back.
Apollo gets ready to land the final punch.
Taiyo looks defeated and looks down.
"Revert."
Taiyo suddenly finds himself landing a barrage of punches on Apollo's abdomen.
*Aika, you're still there.* Taiyo realizes in his head.
Taiyo's eyes lit up and a corner of his mouth stretched into a small smirk.
Taiyo punches Apollo back.
Taiyo sees Aika with her hand out and blood spilling out of her nose a bit.
The move "Revert" also comes with risks, it causes a strain on the user's body. The more times it's used, the more painful the strain is.
Since the Time element is a stronger hybrid element, it must sync with the user in order to be used at large amounts, Aika is the most consistent user of the Time element but she is not the strongest user.
Apollo gets back up on his feet.
Taiyo and Apollo breathes heavily.
At the fast speed that they could manage, they trudge towards each other.
They both punch each other in the face.
Their faces go back but they get back to punching.
Over and over, Apollo and Taiyo punch and kick each other.
45 minutes remain.
"Why don't you just stay down and let me win!!" Apollo yells hoarsely.
"I could say the same to you!" Taiyo yells back just as hoarsely.
They continue this cycle of punch and kicking each other for the next 35 minutes.
10 minutes remain.
Taiyo breaks the cycle by grabbing Apollo's destroyed chainmail and headbutts him.
Blood flows out of both of their heads and they fall to the ground.
8 minutes remains.
Apollo gets up on both his knees.
Taiyo launches himself off the ground, using his hands, to double leg kick Apollo the gut.
Apollo falls back on the ground as Taiyo lands on the ground just barely standing.
Taiyo's and Apollo's detransforms.
"Darn it." Taiyo says to himself in a low voice.
Apollo takes the opportunity to punch in the face while he's distracted.
5 minutes remain.
Taiyo falls onto the ground.
He tries to get up but Apollo kicks him on the gut.
Taiyo goes forward a bit on the ground.
Apollo goes forward at Taiyo to punch him on the ground.
"Revert"
Just as Apollo punch is a centimeter away from Taiyo's face, he goes back to where he is getting ready to punch Taiyo.
Taiyo grabs Apollo's wrist and uses it to propel himself up and he kicks Apollo in the face.
*The time is NOW!* Taiyo thinks to himself.
"BEHEMOTH'S 2ND RELEASE ATTACK: CURSED STAR!!" Taiyo yells as he starts to turn into a large ball of cursed flame.
The entire 100 meters that Taiyo and Apollo were in explodes into cursed flames.
The explosion starts as a large ball of cursed flames but then it bursts upwards, expanding by 5 meters in the process.
The explosion just barely ends right in front of Aika but she is blown back.
She gets caught by a mysterious person.
Aika looks up and her eyes go wide.
30 seconds remain.
The explosion and the smoke fades away and reveals a burnt down field clearing with some burnt down trees on the edges.
20 seconds.
Taiyo gets up and runs towards Apollo with his sword in his hand and with the intent to kill.
10 seconds.
Apollo looks at Taiyo and a tear falls down on both of their faces.
5 seconds.
Taiyo leaps forward and his sword is only a centimeter away.
No more time left.
Taiyo's body gets sent flying, along with his sword flying in the air.
A large yellow hand protects Apollo.
"Just barely on time, my vessel." The Apollo god says.
Apollo's neck is slightly cut open and bleeds.
The Apollo god heals Apollo.
Taiyo's body slams on a nearby tree, except his head is not on his shoulders.
Taiyo's sword lands 5 meters in front of him
Taiyo headless body just sits there on the tree.
Suddenly, Taiyo's head lands perfectly on Taiyo's hands.
Taiyo's head has an emotionless expression.
