Chapter 332 - Scouting

"Lily, call for two of the free members. Tell Mountain Ape to set up a board outside about '1 person 1 order' I'll handle the serving with my abilities in the meantime." She strode into the filled shop with confident steps and stood behind the counter to deal with the customers.

Using her psychic abilities to take orders, make them, serve them, receive payment, and retrieve the dishes at once she showed the true meaning of multitasking. The show itself pleased the audience as the experience was worth it, and the taste became another hook. The only problem was that they couldn't order more.

That day more posts about the shop Heavenly started to go live on SNS and drew in more curious masses. All while the Blizzard Group worked hard to keep up with demands. The line didn't seem to shorten in any way. But now, it has become more manageable.

'The others have come, I can now return to the Hero's side. That's where the real deals will happen.' Fubuki wanted to use that side of the business to build connections with powerful individuals and have them join the Blizzard Group.

Right now three Rank S Heroes waited back there ready to get recruited, and the only one watching over the place was Eyelashes. But, before she could go there, someone called for her.

"Big sis, do the floaty again." It was the happy cry of a little girl.

The girl was about 5 years of age and looked excited when she sent the ice cream cup flying toward her for the first time. The girl's mother looked apologetic as the kid stopped Fubuki by holding onto her clothes.

"I am sorry about that, Hana-chan let Big sis go. You already had your ice cream for today. We can't order more." At the mother's words, the girl reluctantly let go of Fubuki's pants. Hana looked at the floor biting her lip, it was like she'd cry at any second but didn't.

"Ok… mommy." Seeing her Fubuki looked back at the door to the Heroes corner once before turning to the kid.

"What flavor do you want? The same or another?" At her question, the kid's eyes lit up.

"Would it be ok?" The mother still worried about the order policy looked at her, but Fubuki nodded reassuring her.

"So, what do you want?" Using her powers she made Hana float so the kid could see the different options through the glass.

Sure to lift her gently without any violent movements, Fubuki maintained the height with absolute confidence. She may not have a lot of psychic power but she has refined her control over it over the years. Plus the intention wasn't to scare Hana after all. But, far from scared, happiness shone through the kid's expression who burst into giggle upon her first flight. Soon enough her eyes locked on a particular container of ice cream as she remembered the reason she was here.

"The pink one!" At her choice, Fubuki lifted a scoop of the ice cream and placed it in a cup before presenting it to Hana using her powers.

"Woah!" Slowly letting her back on the floor, Fubuki saw the big smile on Hana's face, "Thank you, Big sis!"

"Don't worry." She smiled in return and waved Hana goodbye.

"Mountain Ape add to the board that children can make two orders." At her words, Mountain Ape made his way out of the shop. But, before Fubuki could leave for the inner shop Lily signalled her to look back.

'Ugh…' Several children's eyes had locked onto her. Their bright and excited gaze stuck to her back along with the apologetic look of the parents and guardians. Although she could ignore them, the gazes prevented her from taking another step.

'Argh! Whatever, I'll wrap this up and go quick!' It wasn't until two hours had passed that she could step into the Hero side of the shop.

"You look exhausted young lady. Didn't get enough sleep?" Bang asked in worry as Fubuki showed a thumbs up and caught her breath.

"I am fine… now, let's talk about your admittance into Blizzard Group." Her ferocious smile returned as Fubuki wiped the sweat off.

The three Rank S heroes looked blinked not understanding what was happening.

Yet, even in another city, Adam got updates related to his shop.

Service is an Art, and Shop Heavenly has mastered it!

Numerous such posts made it to SNS with videos of Fubuki giving the children a fun experience, along with her using her abilities to deal with the initial rush. The genuine happiness of the customers landed them many five-star reviews and words of praise on the internet. Many people on the internet talked about visiting the shop or putting it on the list for the future.

'She's doing better than expected.' While leaving Grayfia didn't think that Fubuki was that into the task, which kind of made her unhappy as Adam was the one who gave it. But, seeing this, she could rest her worries a little. The person in question had her act together and seemed to doing extra, as she should.

Right now, her focus should stay on accompanying Adam through the streets of Z City. They searched for a possible location to set up a shop here, but the plan wasn't to go to any dealerships around here. They planned to do it in person.

"This place looks good." He muttered as they came across an old two-story shop that looked like a haunted house.

Several cracks formed alongside the structure with fading paint and some missing bricks. On one side bird shit covered the wall, and on the other, several abandoned nests littered the windows. But, the main issue became that the shop lay on the edge of Z City's abandoned area.

"I'll look inside." Saying that Adam entered through the doorless entrance to check the place.

Grayfia however, decided to stand outside. The reason had to do with what they came to do here. It wasn't a simple scouting for locations plan that he sold to Fubuki. If he wanted to look for such places he wouldn't have to worry for them. The capable maid beside him had already compiled a list of high-value locations for the shop in every city.

'That Administrator's interference is heavy in this area.' Feeling the same presence as that guy around this place Adam acted like he didn't sense it. The source of it all hid below the face of the earth.

'But I can't directly approach her. I need to get around the prying eyes and make it believable.' He could barge in and become a part of the matter, but doing that would put be a crude way of botching the overall chance of reaching his goal.

That was why he tried to reach the goal in other ways. So far things were working in a good direction, and he could see a way to reach his target in time.

'The plan should move forward in a week at most with Fubuki on board. So, there isn't a need to hurry. Unless something unexpected happens.' After confirming the wide lower floor and the stable second floor, Adam came out of the shop to meet Grayfia.
