Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4

For a month you keep dreaming. The other students start to gossip about you, calling you a sleep loser. You hear the rumors and you know that they are not true. You are not a loser and you will not let this bring you down. You will show the other students what you are capable of and you will show them that you are a force to be reckoned with. You will go on to achieve great things and you will not be limited by others' opinions. You will prove that you are capable of anything you set your mind to and you will show everyone that you are not a Sleep Loser.

Someone knocks on your door - it's your little sister Alisa! She says, "I heard you got accepted into Sun Academy! Congratulations! "

"Long time no see my sis"

"It's been way too long." your sister says as she gives you a hug. "I missed you and I'm so glad you're here. I'm so proud of you and I'm very excited to see what you will accomplish at Sun Academy." She has a big smile and you can tell she is genuinely happy you're here. It's obvious you and your sister have a close relationship and she cares deeply about you.

"so how's your progress?"

"My progress has been going great," she says excitedly. "I've already achieved Martial Level II. I feel more powerful and more capable than ever before, able to take on anything that comes my way. I'm ready to tackle challenges head-on and prove myself as an unstoppable force for good." She smiles and her excitement is infectious.

"Who is your Elder?"

"My mentor is the Elder of Sun Academy," she says. "He is the leader of his division and a very wise and powerful individual. He is an incredible teacher and mentor who has guided me through the journey. He is someone who really cares about his students and wants them to reach their full potential.

then someone comes inside your room and interrupts you and your sister.

Ruka walks into your room with a smug look on her face. She looks at you and smirks, clearly knowing what she is about to do. She looks at your sister, Alisa, and gives her a pointed look, implying that she knows what she is about to say will bother and upset her. After all the rumors the students have been spreading, it's obvious she's heard to poke fun at you and put you down. You don't like the smug look on Ruka's face and the way she's looking at you.

"I've heard some people gossiping about you" Ruka starts with a coy smile on her face. "They call you a 'sleep loser'. Is that true?" she continues, egging you on and clearly enjoying herself.

you are not angry but calm

"You don't get angry like a normal person, do you?" Ruka continues with a smug look on her face. "You just take the insults and the humiliation and let them roll off you like water off a duck's back. You're not normal." She's obviously trying to get you mad, but you stay calm and keep your emotions in check. You are completely unfazed by her taunts. You know that you are powerful and capable and there is no use getting worked up over her jealousy of her. You have bigger things to focus on and your energy is too valuable to waste on giving her satisfaction.

Alisa steps between you and Ruka and faces her sister, standing tall and holding her own. "What is your problem, Ruka?" she demands. "Why are you so insistent on tearing others down? It's like you find joy in demeaning others and seeing them suffer. Do you get some kind of sick satisfaction out of it?" Her face is full of concern and fury, but she's not afraid to speak her mind and confront her sister about her behavior. She stands her ground and shows no fear or hesitation in standing up for her friend.

"I'm just telling it like it is," Ruka replies with a flippant wave of her hand. "This 'Sleep Loser' deserves to know what people are saying about him." Alisa rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "That doesn't excuse your behavior, Ruka," she says. "Instead of gossiping and tearing others down, you should focus on yourself and your own shortcomings." She turns to you again. "You are not a loser, and you have nothing to prove to anyone. You should not let others' opinions define you or hold you back.

"Enough Alisa"

"Enough?" Ruka asks, mockingly. "What's that supposed to mean?" Alisa glowers at her sister and then looks at you. "Don't let her get to you, her words mean nothing." Ruka rolls her eyes and then turns her back on you and her sister. "Whatever," she says dismissively. "I'll leave you alone. For now." She turns and walks out, her smug look still plastered across her face as if she still got exactly what she wanted. But it's clear that your words did affect her, though she would never admit it.

"She's just a bully," Alisa says, looking annoyed as she watches her sister walk away. "She enjoys getting a rise out of people and causing trouble. I guess she has her reasons, but I don't agree with her methods. You should ignore what she says and focus on your own path." She turns back to you with a smile and continues. "I believe you are more than capable of achieving great things at Sun Academy, and I'm sure you will find your journey to be both challenging and rewarding. If you ever want to talk or need my help, you know where to find me."

"Go ahead then and sleep if you want to," Alisa says, understanding and non-judging. She gives you a quick wink and a smile and then walks out of the room. You let out a deep breath and close your eyes as you continue to process what just happened and begin to fall asleep. The dream world soon slips away and you are left with peaceful dreams as your body and mind begin to repair themselves through rest and healing.
