"What do you want?" Elise growled, her eyes flickering with an intense flame. The Inferno Dragon had adopted a defensive stance and summoned rings of flame that whirled in front of her.
Similarly, even Zara had summoned a two-meter frost spear, the tip gleaming menacingly under the glare of the corrupted sun.
"Hahahaha." Garren chuckled as if he found their actions amusing. He didn't seem threatened in the slightest, which made the two girls even more cautious about him.
"What I want?" said Garren as he stepped forward confidently. As he did, the two girls took a single step back, their expressions turning even more serious.
Tension crackled through the air like an elastic drawn taut, waiting to be released.
"I want you both to join my faction," Garren declared. "Although I'm no fan of one of the eight elements, I'll compromise for you two."
