A nurse came in to check on Chen Lin.
Aside from the lingering headache and the hives scattered across her back and chest, everything else seemed normal.
She ate a light meal, freshened up briefly, then crawled back into bed. More than anything, she just wanted to go home.
She had been scheduled for an online class that morning, but since it was already past noon, she had clearly missed it. With nothing else to do, she resigned herself to resting again.
Turning to Lian Hua, she asked quietly, "Can I have my phone?"
Lian Hua shook her head. "I don't know where's your phone Ms. Chen."
Chen Lin sighed. "Then… can you call Wu Yuxuan for me? I need to leave soon. I have scenes to shoot this afternoon."
Lian Hua's expression shifted slightly, as if she had anticipated the question.
"Mr. Wu told me to do that," she said gently. "I already spoke to Director Peng and Manager Li. I told them about your condition."
