The pair of emerald eyes bore into Seth's soul, the singular pair of luminous lights dwelling within the darkest depths of the shadows. Shadows that had grown deeper, almost pitch black, as if they were eager to hug themselves to the strangers body and conceal themselves from sight.
Perhaps, if Seth had been in a less sleep deprived state he might have noticed the discrepancy in the shadows, since it was undoubtedly odd than only once section of the room was completely pitch black for no conceivable reason while the rest of the room had normal shadows.
Or maybe he would have noticed the glowing eyes within these shadows, since such a thing isn't exactly the epitome of stealth. But Alas, it was not meant to be. Thus in his delirium, even if he did notice such things, Seth simply brushed them off as he was overwhelmed with the urge to climb into bed and plunge into an endless sleep.
