Chapter 747 - Chapter 903

Zipfel Second Fleet, Kozec 2 Bridge.

Originally, the captain of Kozec 2 was Octavia, but the current commanders leading the fleet were three special living golems: Betty, Almatia, and Kun.

They were each commanding the fleet in place of Veradin, Octavia, and Satrin.

There were almost no human mages onboard the Kozec 2.

The majority of the crew were composed of living golems known as "Magic Golem Corps."

All the battleships lined up endlessly behind the flagship were the same.

Human mages accounted for only about 20% of the entire force.

"Will the Vamel Alliance really follow us and move as our patriarch said?"

"I'm curious too. The patriarch made this decision without the assistance of the Demon God's Orb. I remember he said something like "If it's Jin Runcandel, he will surely understand my intentions," right?"

At Almatia and Kun's words, Betty nodded.

"Do not doubt the Patriarch's judgment. Also, the future calculations of the Demon God's Orb are incomplete, so it might be better not to apply it to something as important as this."

Betty was the commander of the Magic Golem Corps.

The two vice-commanders nodded while watching Betty's reactions.

"Well, that's just what I thought."

"Okay, then. Whatever orders the patriarch gives, we are the ones who follow them. Moreover, if the situation worsens due to the patriarch's orders, it's also our job to make it better somehow."

These three were not just simple living golems but people.

In fact, they had elements that could be called ego and personality, and no one in Zipfel took them lightly.

On the contrary, they were feared. The Magic Golem Corps is the most powerful unit under the command of Zipfel's patriarch, following the Spectre Corps and Ghost Corps, and these three were their leaders, so it was only natural.

Moreover, the three of them were receiving better treatment than most pure-blooded Zipfels.

The Spectre Corps typically handled special operations, and since its creation, the Ghost Corps were mainly known as the punishment unit.

The Magic Golem Corps could be considered a unit specialized in large-scale warfare.

This was because the Magic Golem Corps was composed of members with outstanding combat power overall, and even if they lost many personnel in battle, it did not cause significant political problems.

Except for Betty, Almatia, and Kun, the other members of the unit were nothing more than living golems referred to by their "identification numbers."

When a living golem died, or rather, was destroyed, they could be easily replaced. Of course, it consumed resources, but it was a small price compared to the death of a trained human mage.

No matter how exceptional their average combat prowess was, ultimately, aside from Betty, Almatia, and Kun, the others were merely living golems.

They couldn't hold a higher value than genuine 8-star or 9-star mages.

"374."

"Yes, Commander."

"Increase the speed. Before midnight, the vanguard should be able to attack the Grosh Castle's defensive line."

"Understood."

Currently, the Zipfel fleet advancing towards Grosh Castle numbered exactly one thousand. Furthermore, Zipfel planned to continuously reinforce the front lines with additional fleets every two days.

Although Zipfel did not possess advanced technologies like spatial jumps and long-range communications, they undoubtedly overwhelmed other forces with their war resources and production capabilities.

This was thanks to the ability of Sanna, the shrine maiden of the Sun God Religion, to utilize the "Holy Land."

And Veradin was gradually making plans to deal with her. It was because of one piece of information that the Demon God's Orb had recently revealed to Veradin.

"I never thought traitor Kelliark Zipfel would recover and establish his position in hell."

"Moreover, the shrine maiden knew about it but didn't inform the patriarch, Betty. The Sun God Religion guys really have no intention of giving true loyalty to the patriarch."

"The patriarch probably foresaw it from the beginning. The day would come when we had to break away from the Sun God Religion. There's still more to gain about the Holy Land, so we should let her live for now. But we must deal with her before she gains more influence."

"In one of the futures that the Demon God's Orb calculated, one of the worst-case scenarios was the shrine maiden and Kelliark joining forces. Ah, it would be great if we could just capture the Az Mil's contractor that the Vamel Alliance has. When the future calculations of Demon God's Orb become perfect, we won't need to worry anymore."

"After Jin Runcandel became involved with Tikan, the Az Mil's contractor has never been exposed to danger even once. Securing Euria Alprion will only be possible after the downfall of the Vamel Alliance. Because of the consecutive wars, the hunt for the gods has been delayed, so we must thoroughly clean up True Demon World starting with this invasion."

"Don't worry, Captain. Starting from tonight, Kun and I will just slaughter the demon bastards."

"We've been bored just cutting down leftover Red Plutonians. They must have weakened considerably since then, but we still haven't found their main base. But Grosh Castle, as the largest stronghold of True Demon World, is openly located at sea, so it feels less frustrating."

"There's probably some kind of passage leading to True Demon World from Grosh Castle. From then on, we can definitely destroy the true headquarters of True Demon World. After attacking Grosh Castle and infiltrating True Demon World, we should avoid battles with the Vamel Alliance and Kinzelo as much as possible until we assess the situation. Everyone understands, right? Even if you encounter the Alliance's powerhouses on the front lines, you are not allowed to rush to fight them."

"Yes, yes, I understand. It's a bit disappointing, but it can't be helped. What's important is not our personal triumph, but the mission. Beating the Vamel Alliance's superhumans and measuring ourselves against them is something we can do anytime, not now."

"Not anytime, but something we must do, killing them. Our final enemies are not True Demon World or Red Plutonian tribe but the Vamel Alliance and Runcandel. If we can't win against them, all of this will ultimately be meaningless."

The Zipfel fleet continued to advance relentlessly through the sea of swords and magic.

A fleet of thousand battleships cast a massive shadow over the sea, and midnight was quickly approaching.

11:45 PM.

Finally, Betty confirmed in the distance beyond the bridge that the True Demon World's defensive line was visible.

Even before reaching this point, they had dealt with several reconnaissance battleships and demons, so True Demon World had already deployed more troops on the Zipfel side of the defense line.

"It's finally the prelude... It seems they withdrew some of the forces guarding the Huphester side and positioned them here. Unless it's a trick, this means that True Demon World's forces aren't truly limitless."

As Betty spoke, a small battleship flew in from the rear formation.

It was a small battleship that had taken off to report information from the rear formation to Betty.

The pilot of the small battleship entered the interior of Kozec 2 to find the bridge.

"What's going on? 1704."

"About three hours ago, the Vamel Alliance's defensive wall started moving, and new superhumans are being added to the front lines of the defensive wall, Commander."

At those words, Betty smiled slyly.

"Indeed, the Patriarch's prediction was accurate. Immediately relay this news to all fleet commanders. We no longer need to return to the clan in vain."

"Understood."

"Prepare for battle, all units. 374, change formations to breakthrough, up to 5th Fleet ."

"Yes."

Boom...!

A massive flare exploded in the sky, forming words in the form similar to the Seal of Fire, creating a cipher in the sky.

"Divide and scatter the following fleets to prepare for bombardment, and deal with the scattered enemies. Almatia, Kun. Both of you will go to the 6th and 7th Fleets, which will serve as the axes of the encirclement, and command the battle."

"Huh? Am I supposed to lead the breakthrough fleet alone? Wouldn't it be more convenient for us to go together?"

"This is the moment when we hit the enemy's largest base for the first time while we have been suffering from demons fleeing to Grosch's castle through sudden fractures, frequent summoning magic and spatial jumps."

"So, the idea is to let the enemy know that Zipfel has many monster-like powerful beings?"

"Yes, and they still haven't grasped the situation. That's why they withdrew some of their forces from the defensive wall. We also need to warn them that they can't possibly defend both the Alliance's defensive wall and us simultaneously."

Betty left the bridge and took her position at the forefront of Kozec 2. Artillery fire and various spells started raining down from the True Demon World's defensive line, and Zipfel's fleet deployed protective shields.

Swoosh...!

Betty gazed at the enemies, holding both her staff and sword.

Fwooosh...!

The staff activated the spell of decimating effusive flame orb, while the sword was infused with both light magic and aura.

"I, Betty Zipfel, will kill you all, starting now."

At the same time, Kinzelo Headquarters.

Kinzelo had also received news that the forces of Runcandel and Zipfel were advancing on Grosh Castle.

[Hmm... That's unexpected. I thought Runcandel would start attacking Grosh Castle and draw other major forces through it. I never thought Veradin Zipfel would make such a decision.]

"That's right, Master. As you said, the Imperial family deliberately didn't provide blood and information to the Red Plutonian tribe, so it seems they haven't fully recovered from the damage they suffered while fighting Zipfel."

[The Melkas would certainly have withheld support from the Red Plutonian tribe. Now, with the Red Plutonian tribe faltering and Zipfel having some breathing room, they are starting an offensive on Grosh Castle, Melkas will probably plan to provide strength to the Red Plutonian tribe, thus pressuring the Federation from within. However, it seems that Veradin has prepared for this to some extent.]

"So, what should we do? Should we coordinate our actions like we did during the first all-out attack, following Zipfel's lead?"

[Of course, that's the plan. Since we alone can't handle Zito, this is our chance. Issue immediate orders for the forces stationed at the defensive wall to advance along with the Vamel Alliance.]

"Well, I'm a bit worried. Last time, during the first all-out attack, we and Zipfel both suffered heavy casualties, but it won't be the same this time, right? Also, last time, Sir Jin started it, but this time it's Sir Veradin, so it feels like it might be different. Sir Veradin rarely makes mistakes when it comes to his intentions."

Zephyrin shrugged.

[Joe.]

"Yes, leader!"

[Most of Zipfel's fleet is likely composed of living golems. We'll send a fleet composed of completed Plutonian-type living golems.]

Completed Plutonian-type living golems.

Not long ago, when he confronted the Majins in the underground city of Phirol, Orgal secretly obtained some fragments of them.

And now, Joe has finished developing them using the information from those fragments.

"Oh, finally, my creations are going to shine! Understood, leader. I'll prepare immediately!"
