"So why are you coming along with me?"
This question was directed at Aisha who was sitting on one of the wyverns on the side.
She acted as if she didn't hear me at first, but then she turned back to say, "I'm interested in the Relic of Destruction. Even if I've seen one before, I'm curious what the next one will be like. After all, I spent all that time in those ruins, so I want to see things through at the very least."
Though it sounded reasonable, the smile on her face really made it hard for me to believe this.
The way that she said this was almost as if she was implying something that only I would understand.
It wasn't hard to guess why she was actually doing this.
After all, there was what happened last time in the elven village. Even without that, the things that Aisha had been doing during this time was more than enough to show that she hadn't given up.
