"The Thunder Platoon wins!" the instructor's voice echoed across the field, loud and triumphant.
The air was immediately filled with a chorus of shrieks and cheers from her team. "Holy shit, we actually won! Hahaha!"
Li Feng, grinning, gave Jiang Yue a quick tap on the shoulder. "Thanks, Jiang Yue."
She shrugged casually, a slight smile tugging at her lips. Laser tag had been surprisingly fun, more than she'd expected, and the win felt good, even if it was just a game.
As she began removing her gear, a familiar voice caught her attention.
"Sister!" She turned to see her sister, Yan Meixiu, Guan Ying and Gao Tian approaching her.
"Ahh! Jiang Yue, congratulations! I knew your team would win! There's no way you were gonna lose!" Yan Meixiu exclaimed, practically bouncing with excitement.
Jiang Yue raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming. "Thanks?"
"You were so cool, Sister," Jiang Xiu said, her voice filled with pride, her smile wide and beaming.
