Trunks glanced at the two of them, each with a varying degree of emotion, their own faces showed nothing but what the perceived as an easy win for it hadn't been long… for them since they last fought, though to Trunks eyes he expected nothing from them but their self-assured arrogance, maybe amusement at him but their deadpan expressions also made sense.
'These two… unlike the ones from that alternate timeline, the androids of my own timeline are more machine than man… twisted by Dr. Gero and therefore, evil to the core. Heh… I won't mourn them… but perhaps I can fix them. Knock them out and dig up information in that madman's lab.' Trunks thought, their reign was over, here and now. He won't hold back, making this quick for there was one more to find.
Trunks gathered energy passively even whilst he stood still, he stepped forward and with an exhale of breath, he begun to shout, that his hair and aura in an instant after had rose and turned gold, he then stepped forward another step, as more Ki cackled around him. Trunks went from 'Super Saiyan' to the next level within a few seconds, his shouting intensifying with another step forward.
Flickering forward, his knee connected with Seventeen's face, harshly twisting him from the blow. Seventeen was knocked into the ground though Trunks didn't let him go, flickering in time to take his right leg, halting the momentum as he tugged him back towards Trunks, his right fist awaiting Seventeen's face.
"He- 'Ghahk'" Seventeen's words were halted the moment Trunks fist-socked him in the throat, sending him on a crashing course with a with desolate half-standing skyscraper. Trunks flickered into the path and with his left foot, held it up upon waiting for Seventeen's head though Eighteen launched a volley from the ground as pink spheres leaving a trail as they homed in on his location wisped right towards him. His speed was that, that as it appeared that he was not moving, Trunks was actually moving so fast that her Ki-blasts appeared to be going straight through him.
Seventeen halted with hands and legs held wide, Trunks left him momentarily, right hand raised with cackling golden energy before he thrust his hand downwards, a large beam of yellow roared down, any of Eighteen's own attack caught in the crossfire were instantly engulfed, disintegrated by his own attack.
"The brats gotten much stronger-": Eighteen's words halt when Trunks flickered, backhanding her downwards to the cracked road, he flickered down with his speed, with a handheld up he caught Eighteen in the back before drop kicking her towards Seventeen.
Removing his sword from his back, Trunks afterimaged towards the two of them as they made contact with one another via Eighteen crashing into Seventeen, he struck fast, using the flat surface of his blade. A hairline away from the top of Eighteen's head, his blade was about to meet Seventeen's neck, instead he stopped and used both hands to thrust the guard onto the surprised android Seventeen's face, followed up by a swift axe kick down upon his head. He was out cold, the blow used a lot of power and Trunks turned to the last opponent he'd need to defeat, though a part of him… a much darker part screamed at him to destroy them, Trunks held back that irrational thought, at least until it was known they could be calibrated.
"Seventeen!-" trunks heard Eighteen scream out furious, though he interrupted her by kicking her while sheathing his sword. His hand free, Trunks thrust his free hand forward and fired off a large blast at both Seventeen, the explosion engulfed him at once, a last finisher encase he thought playing dead was one thing he would do in order to try and get the drop on Trunks.
'One down, that punk will be fine.' Trunks thought, he powered up within the explosion cloud enshrouding his position, dispersing it with a shout and by his intensifying power. Eyes on his next target, Trunks afterimaged in place, Eighteen's face scrunched up in seething anger, her blast intensifying in speed, her barrage once more only 'appeared' to past through him. Trunks chuckled, liking the look she made, that fear that her and her knocked out brother inflicted upon the people of earth.
"This is all at least as you two deserve!" Trunks snarled out, his Ki expanding all around, as multiple dome-shaped shock waves flickered in place at a fast rate, his energy dug out a crater underneath and he floated upwards as to stay above the hole. Trunks raised both hands and quickly expelled a large font of his power, creating a large sphere quickly, swinging his hands downwards whilst shouting.
"Your done! 'Finish Buster'! haaaaaagh!" an overwhelming bomb enveloped the position where Eighteen was currently, she made to flee, and her speed helped her to afterimage to further away, but Trunks remained unbothered. His hands came forwards, two finger salute as he moved his hands to change the trajectory of the blast, essentially his attack was now following her, Trunks smirked when he glimpsed the alarmed look she had when she looked back to gawk at his attack. Her trail ended when his attack finally caught up with her, detonating on impact, darkening the sky's while at the same time blinding Trunks eyes from its monumental explosion. Trunks kept his eyes shielded briefly, landing down upon the earth underneath him, making sure the endless waves of dirt and debris would not enter his eyes while he awaited the explosion to finish.
'Hmm…' Trunks waited with bated breath as the smoke cloud that had formed was now in the process of being blown clear off, he looked through gaps for any sign of her. Looking around, his neck tense and veins pulsing, he breathed out a sigh of relief, that pretty face of hers was now covered in blood, her clothes torn badly though she still lived. Trunks gave her a once over to see if she was faking it though she was more messed up than Seventeen was, he sighed and glanced in the area he left that one in, eyes trailing back over Eighteen's unconscious form. Training mostly as they had unlimited reserves… Trunks, still 'Super Saiyan Two', sensed for lived within Nicky town but… no, there was no one left.
'One left…This one was too dangerous to leave alive, if Cell thought he would obtain 'perfection' he is dead wrong.' he mentally thought, Trunks would not dare proclaim out loud such information he wasn't supposed to know at this point, that of this timelines Cell somewhere, gathering energy in its parasitic, monstrous way. He had the means to leave this world, to head to Namek though he would need to telepathically project his intentions to King Kai first, in order for the esteemed Kai to help him locate and use 'Instant Transmission' to planet Namek.
Trunks powered down to the base, 'Super Saiyan' transformation while he checked the time on his wristwatch, barely five minutes and he had already done in two of the three of his objectives. With no one around here, he took off and left for home, to give his mother the good news.
(Kron-POV)
"Alright then, I'll do it, I will continue that mining operation you want me to do Winter. Just point me in the direction, boss." I said with a sigh, now that all the shit with the brother gods was well and done with, I was being told to work by Winter. In truth, she was eight months pregnant now and required me for… well, until she was free of her pregnancy, I was her slave. I could of course, say no but, who'd want to be growled at? Plus, she was very affectionate during her wild mood swings-
"-You listening Kron, I've got all this work and now that you were finally able to knock me up, I need you to do what I say!" man, she was way worse than Weiss was when she was pregnant with Wylla.
"I hear you. Just, give me the location, send it now! I'm looking for the asteroid field." I said through into my scroll. I was in space far away from Sadala though further away from Earth. The other device I had in space was the mining equipment and storage vacuum that Bulma equipped me with the two capsules that housed the equipment. I could mine entire asteroid fields, heck, even planets if I wanted to. I looked at the scroll, the system downloaded some directional information for the beacon that was planted onto one of the asteroids in the field I was to mine. With direction in hand, I spoke to Winter through my scouter.
"Winter, I'll see you later, I'll give you that foot massage you've been wanting." Winter spoke, her tone dripping with sexual tension, that I knew straight off.
"See you then… husband." clicked off, I got about flying in the direction of the asteroid field and got to work. Exploding rock, punching rock, whatever I wanted, as long as the two machine were fed full of material or ore and used my Ki to telekinetically gather the smaller rock.
"...This job will take an hour or two, the field is… massive, though should I use clones or… nah, I'd like to relax out here, Winter is a temperamental mistress…" I laughed lightly, continuing my work.
(Bojack-POV)
Alone in his room, the door slid open humming as Kogu stepped on through.
"Bojack, the fleet has finally come out of the electrical ion storms, we've now got accurate readings. The fleet is way off this Earth, though we've arrived in sight of another planet. Readings indicate civilization. We could let your Hera race warm up on them, as all but our small group have been dead for a long time." Kogu stood rigid in front of him, Bojack noted he now noticed the dead body of the slave girl he used until death, with disregard the girl's life, he used her and now with Kogu here, he can air out his room. Getting up from his king-sized bed, he motioned to the body and smirked.
"Eject the mess and clean my room Kogu. Assign it to one of the others if you have to but get it done. My room… has been smelling putrid for days now." Kogu nodded, stepping aside when Bojack stepped past him. He went to the command center, the room full of his fellow Hera as he assessed the view of the planet displayed on the large screen. The planet half shone, sunlight reflected upon half and Bojack gazed at his unique appearance. The color of the planet, a mixture of purple and green looked as if it was painted by an amateur, though it glowed in a beautiful way… enough to not want to destroy it outright from out in space.
"...Huh, this will be interesting, the army does need to lose it's cobwebs… kek."
(????-POV)
"...Hungry, you'll do." he growled out, the large creature fought back, it's instincts of fight or flight demanded it could eat him but, his fist connected with the titan-sized beast and shattered it. Afterimaging to another position, he growled loudly, asserting his dominance before pushing up the shatter jaw of the beast and punching the shattered bone straight through its skull.
His hunger was great, for ever since he followed the great black serpent out of his prison, he had been ravenous. The world, his second one he found after the first was forcibly exploded by weaklings, had supplied him and his hunger with sustenance for which he gorged himself. Plenty of animals he could eat here, he had no other purpose for the moment besides fulfilling what felt like a millennia of hunger pains, his freedom insured he could now eat to his hearts content and then…
"...I need an opponent, anything must be better than the food…" he glowered, eyes narrowed with his right-hand forwards, firing a controlled Ki-blast towards the carcass and smelling the aroma of his next meal with a growl.
'At least I do not need to share the meal.' he stated to himself, removing his mask and ripping into the burnt flesh of the monstrous beast, his red eyes searching for more prey to hunt after he's finished consuming this one.
((Future) Trunks-POV)
He arrived home late as he went slow with the two knocked out androids and the hours, he spent down in Dr. Gero's lab- the part of it which housed his supercomputer. Before destroying that, he rigged up a part of the system to a mobile part of the system before stealing designs for the androids and the pods that allowed them to be housed in and reprogrammed. A lot of work, though he was as smart as his mother and the madman Gero had a lot of spare hardware lying around enough for him to make a hard drive for his own. Taking everything and then destroying the supercomputer and more importantly that miniature version of Cell, he headed home.
Trunks seen his mother drinking alcohol in the underground lab while working on something with her multi-tool, He realized that she had been worried much for him, he understood this now as, to him, it had been years while his mother had seen him leave and reappear in uh, one to ten minutes after. The concept of time, he knew his mother would understand but, she was still a worried mother, and it was just them… for now.
"Hey mother, I'm home. I've done it, I've beaten them both, easily though uh… I uh, brought them here actually. I don't suppose uh, there's dinner-" she dropped her bottle, standing up and rushing to him, hugging him fiercely. Trunks noted the bottle of alcohol. While open, it was not even drunk.
"...Your back, I'm glad you… And yes, I did make some dinner. Them… androids, what are you going to do with them> You remember that they caused a lot of death, what are your plans for them. Ah right, your dinner… I put it in this capsule, stored for when you got back. So… it is… finally over, the androids… are… your prisoners then." she asked slowly, eyeing Trunks for an explanation, to which he quickly replied to his plans while removing his capsule case capsule and throwing it to get to the storage casing for all the other capsules within. He then removed the one of which housed every bit of information within a few D.I.Y made hard drives he quickly created and pointed at them. His mother eyed the hard drives, expecting an answer.
"Here, everything I stole from Dr. Gero's computer, everything we could use to reprogram these two, they are monsters now but… the ones from the past were not and the planet could use some allies while I leave the planet, I need to get to Namek to wish back the others." Bulma's eyebrows rose in surprise, she then replied while eyeing the devices.
"I'll get in touch with the various groups leading their people and spread the news that they were defeated. Are they… knocked out, for how long? You better remain here until I can get whatever schematics made up so until then, there will be no trip to Namek. I'll manage to explain to them over the radio. Tell them that we're free… I guess rebuilding is going to be up to the survivors, us included. And these two… I'm not one hundred percent they should be given the chance to redeem themselves but if the dragon balls are involved, we can wish back everyone who was killed by them, including Gohan, Vegeta… Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo… Yamcha…" Trunks nodded, though he ought to tell her, he would rather Cell come to him and that he didn't know Trunks knew about him.
Smiling, Trunks took the capsule as he replied to his mother, throwing down the capsule and helping himself to his dinner, cooked already and hot for him. Trunks removed the capsule his mother from the alternate world had given to him, the Bulma of the past was kind indeed to offer every last piece of hers and Winter's research data for hos own mother and himself to use. Bulma glanced at the capsule, seeing the more different variant than the ones of her ruined company.
"Oh? What is this then, another capsule… from the me of the-"
"-Alternate timeline I'd ended up in. The Bulma of that time was something else…" he began, he ended up tell his mom while he ate, about that alternate timeline, in particular about her of the alternate reality and more delicately, that she and his father didn't get together though he was or a different version of him was born. That and the fact she was apart of a harem which had her surprised most of all, the harem and that she married another Saiyan.
An hour of talking, eating and relaxing, his mother and Trunks ended up going to bed, Trunks made sure to create some clones to watch the unconscious androids, the ruined Capsule Corp would be rebuilt in time, the new day however Trunks would be on the lookout for the last android, Cell but this one would not be given any chance to redeem.
The month passed slowly, the world was told that the androids were defeated though no one believed Bulma at first, these various fractured survivor groups sent out their own people out in the world in order to find any signs, many towns that have survived the onslaught from the androids because of their more rural locations hiding them also sent out survivors to look for signs. Another month, with no signs of the androids, though Trunks had heard of some communities of people were disappearing, meaning Cell was moving more freely in his search for the androids, the ones he had as prisoners while the lab was upgraded to accommodate their reprogramming. It was Sunday, Trunks had decided in past months to let his guard down or appear to for Cell's appearance, his mother was busy with the capsule filled with various data hard-drives she was gifted while Trunks had his time machine out, he did plan to go to the future though not that alternate version but right now, his time machine was his bait. Bait yes, but he was running diagnostics on the systems, checking for bugs and defragging the systems, when he felt something behind him. His senses honed picked up movement, his honed hearing heard something fall, a loose brick or something crumbled to the ground behind him.
An ominous feeling could be felt three hours after he started doing maintenance on the time machine like he was being watched from afar, which made him smirk inwardly. The ominous feeling left, while the metallic footsteps hummed in his ears, getting louder. Cell walked out, no longer hiding his presence, he wasn't that stronger than Trunks was when he left for the future, more or less. Cell glowered at him, looking confident as he approached, stepping forward much impactful in noise and the footprints he was leaving in the concrete, broken up.
"Bah… Trunks, you're the last. The last of the strongest warriors that Dr. Gero has recorded in his computer. Trunks I've come to ask some questions, that you'd be so inclined as to answer for me… Tell me, where are the androids hiding? I've lost their locations, you see if just come… into my own so to speak. I'm really interested in meeting my-" Trunks flickered forwards, his boot meeting Cells face, he grabbed at him and with his neck held, Trunks dragged him through old desolate buildings and away from the ruined, rubble dome of capsule Corp. Continuing, Trunks powered up and reached 'Super Saiyan Two' while he continued to drag Cell by the throat, reaching outside of west city in a few minutes with speed.
Trunks fired a blast from his hand gripping Cells throat while Cell, now in the position to retaliate, speared his tail against Trunks multiple times while Trunks afterimaged multiple times in turn, each time reapplying his choke hold to Cell's throat until he threw the Ki-blast. It ruptured Cell, exploding, Cell's eyes bugged out wide, his mouth chocked momentarily while the hole could be seen where his throat would be. Cell was already healing when Trunks pressed his attack, flickering forwards to engage with Ki-infused fists, each hit catching the weakling Cell off-guard. Empowering his next blast, the 'Meskeno' to destroy him now. Cell was outclassed, it was painfully obvious and when he made to run, Trunks made sure to keep an eye on his, flickering ever closer while pouring more energy into the finisher.
"This is it, Cell! 'Meseko… … … haaaaaaaaaaaa!!'" The large golden-brown beam raced for Cell while Cell turned, Primal fear easily seen in those scaly eyes while Cell shouted out, surprise laced every word.
"W-Wait, how'd you know I am Cell-" the rest of his question went unsaid, when the Trunks attack detonated on impact, destroying Cell entirely, his energy flickered harshly before fading out of Trunks senses. Finally, a month of relaxing and appearing as weak as he felt when he left, Trunks was finally ready to go about fixing the world and his task to wish back the others, starting with Piccolo and in extension, Kami so the earth dragon balls would be restored.
'A lot of stuff the fix, and now a lot of time. Though I better get it done quickly so that I can head to the past, the right one… and warn Goku about the androids, I better pick up some more medicine too…' Trunks said to himself, his eyes busy scanning the landscape for any trace of Cell carefully once more before, heading home at max speed.
