(Darkness-POV)
This warrior stood across from him, his outfit mutilated with holes, his stare upon him held no trace of fear nor worry for his own person. Darkness healed up fast, his reserves dropping but still within acceptable levels, he energy quickly returning. His body on the other hand, took that much longer to heal, still bruised and battered by this pest's brutal melee assault, he weighed his options. He could flee, but no, his pride would not allow it, he still had many tricks to use in order to destroy the one that stood before him.
A silence begun between the two, must have last barely a few seconds though it felt like more like hours, their intense stand-off ended when the man flickered off, afterimaging towards him with precision, landing an elbow strike to his abdomen. Darkness roared in anger, pain writhing through his body as he impacted the side of a large mountain, piercing through and continuing to slide roughly along the ground, impacting a nearby river. Sliding forcibly through the water, his impact ended on the other side of the river, his path he created with his body uncontrollably quickly filled up with water which washed him, covering him after.
His eyes opened, widening when a large beam had followed him, tearing through the mountain he went through, evaporating the river before impacting him. He growled loudly, using his own 'Absolute Shield' technique, using it to engulf himself in his own power, shielding him from much of the blast. The explosion ripped open the landscape, tossing Darkness around and impacting the side of the now formed crater. He didn't let up, the warrior once again flickered within the explosion, his energy that fierce red color, with random black bolts wisping around it, attacking him with a strong melee assault, not letting up.
Darkness called out to him, his energy, he quickly formed multiple orbs of energy, which floated out from his aura, before firing downwards upon the warrior with decimating impact. For their size, the attacks contained massive amounts of his overflowing energy, his attacks hammered upon the warrior, with those missing due to his quick afterimaging quickly re-targeting him. Darkness cackled in glee as the area, which still had dust and debris raising or falling from the warriors attack though dispersing now, was quickly filling with that of his 'Mugen kyū danmaku' technique.
The sky was now filled with thousands of his technique, all converging on the warrior's location, their explosion multiplied in size in an instant, as ripples formed within the main explosion during the sustained bombardment of his 'Mugen kyū danmaku' technique. Darkness smirked in satisfaction, he placed over half his current reserves into that technique, he felt a macabre delight in watching his attack-
"-You've been watching for a while now, Darkness… buddy… you're too slow to react to inexperienced to fight-" Darkness felt the punch to the side of his face, his face shattered, his jaw exploded from the impact while he assailed through into the ground by the blow. More attacks followed suite, he managed to quickly use his 'Absolute Shield' technique to absorb the rest of the blows, retaliating with a barrage from his encapsulating, swirling energy. Multiple beams, that of his 'Absolute Rain' technique fired upwards, thousands of small beams wisping around to pelt into the warrior, they either exploded on impact or some of the luckier beams managed to penetrate the warrior's enormous energy aura, tearing into his flesh before the warrior's vast aura of energy managed to disintegrate the wisps.
((Future) Trunks-POV)
Waking up Kron didn't take long, he was surprised he was there, even more so when he spotted Trunks had got his tail back, getting Kron up and ready, Trunks waited for him while he ate a large meal and then after, packed up his Capsule Corp home and his other assortments. Kron headed over to him, a tired gaze bored into Trunks, he spoke then as Kron glanced towards King Kai.
"I'll be off then. Trunks, you're going to enjoy this, I would wager you're going to need more of these than I will." he took out a worn bag, Senzu beans were within, that Kron took a handful of them before tossing the bag to Trunks. King Kai continued to have a face full of excitement, the north Kai was in the moment, watching Vegito as the fusion-made warrior was calling himself, Vegito was taking the fight to this Darkness guy and by the look on King Kais's face… he seemed to be winning. Trunks swallowed some of his saliva, replying as he gathered the Senzu beans and pocketed the bag in a good pocket of his, easily accessible for him during a fight.
"Alright then. Shall we get going then Kron, I'm waiting for you." Kron nodded, he held an eagerness in him, even through such tired eyes, the strange Saiyan with many wives placed a hand upon his right shoulder, replying even while a hum of energy begun to irradiate off of him, signifying his own powering up.
"You can fight Broly, I'll fight Cell. Beware, that oath of a Saiyan will continue to target myself, thinking I'm Kakarot… Goku. Alright, now!" Trunks and Kron vanished from the planet, Kron's face before the teleportation a conundrum of concentration and annoyance. They reappeared on a desolate world on the offsets of a great, world ending extinction event. Trunks coughed slightly, the heat wafting off of his face, Volcanic activity seemed prevalent even from where they stood, nearby a Clone of Kron who at the moment, was in a melee brawl with both Cell and Broly.
"Alright then! You may dispel clone!" Kron shouted suddenly, the clone's smirking nod was all Trunks seen last before it dispersed, Cell instead of hitting the clone and engaging him, struck Broly in the abdomen instead. Cell was shrugged off as the two begun to fight in front of Kron, now fully empowered without his clone around plus Trunks himself.
Kron then transformed much quicker than Trunks could into 'Super Saiyan primal', fully demolishing the hilltop the two of them were standing on. Now floating, Trunks, also in his 'Super Saiyan Primal' form, immediately flickered into near Broly, beginning his melee attack in order to gauge the rogue legendary Saiyan's power. Kron flickered towards Cell, engaging with him, their brawl shattered even air when large domed spheres of air exploded at every of their blows, they quickly maneuvered to another location, afterimaging to try and one-up the other. Trunks roared hoarsely, slamming down into Broly, though the big guy managed to grab his throat, punching him downwards with his free hand. Trunks glared, managing to control his own forced descent, firing upwards a barrage of Ki-blasts, he dashed backwards and got some breathing room. Broly's gaze turned to Kron so Trunks, now eating his first Senzu bean as he did put in a massive amount of his energy into that barrage, with full power restored from biting down on the bean, he flickered forwards and tried to get the big guys attention with a swift kick to the head.
Broly pushed on through the kick, howling in fury while charging up a large sphere, tossing it towards Kron and Cell who were in the middle of their own fight.
'Damn this guy, he's shrugging off my attacks like I meant nothing at all… I need to try and get his attention with another attack.' Trunks thought, gathering power, charging up. Moving his hands dramatically, swiping through the air, he placed both thumbs of his hands together along with the tips of his index finger, them forming a diamond shape with his hands, calling out loudly.
"Hey Broly! Kakarot is behind you! 'Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!" he launched a large sphere, it raced towards Broly's back and exploded while Trunks had already readied himself for his next attack, Broly seemed to have turned. He shrugged off his preemptive strike though it was his next beam, 'Super Gatlick Gun', a modified version of his father's own attack, made by Trunks to allow more energy to be used, for a more formidable damage output. He also made it in mind, Piccolo's 'Special Beam Cannon' technique, which had a piercing effect.
The beam managed to turn Broly's attention away from his primary target, Kron and Cell continued their own brawl while Trunk's beam was being held by Broly, who even now howled in anger and perhaps a bit of pain, his attack even while held by blocking causes considerable damage to those foolish enough to hold on. Blasting another 'Finish Buster'.
His new attack reached his 'Super Gatlick Gun' beam and detonated it, decimating the area, Broly and everything within the large domed explosion. Trunks shut one eye, the smoke and dust blowing fiercely towards him, obstructing his view.
Ki swirling around him once more, he flipped another Senzu bean into his mouth, powering up for another beam, this time his ultimate attack… the 'Ultimate Buster Cannon', wisps of energy cackled nearby his hands as yellow colored bolts of energy danced dramatically around his fingers, a constant hum noise could be heard during the charge up, small orbs of yellow colored energy gathered into his hand like bubbles.
"... … …'Ultimate… … Buster… … …Cannon'! haaaaaaaa!!" the energy gathered out from within fired off, the beam of gold continued to expand in size until it hit its mark, Broly become drowned in it, the explosion shook the very world with its impact and resulting explosion. He turned his head to the left when a volley of small black and purple spheres, encased in harsh-sounding, static energy came from behind Trunks to his left. He turned, seeing that guy, Mira now hovering there.
"Mira is also fighting this one little boy, so be mindful of him from now on, lest he accidentally ends up killing you." the voice, familiar, from his right as he turned, he seen that Dabura's sister floating nearby. She wore a scientist coat over her usual appeal which most woman would find scandalized seen in public in such a provocative outfit. She was very beautiful, though it was too bad that she seemed to also have eyes for Kron, plus this wasn't his timeline nor did Trunks worry about scoring hot woman until he could return home.
"Fine then, I'll be careful, we might need to work together anyway-"
"-I work alone." Mira said simply, blasting forwards into the obscuring dust cloud now all that's left of both Trunks and Mira's combined attack, Trunks then seen as the dust cloud was forcefully blown apart while Mira and Broly now engaged one another in melee combat, their fast moving though more brutish than any sort of skill. Trunks sighed, hearing the woman, Towa cackle beautifully, before she vanished from the area, out of his ability to sense her. Trunks glared at the two, eyes narrowed in thought.
'This guy is annoying but he's fighting with me and Kron, so an ally, much like my father in temperament. Why am I stuck with the edge lords?' he mentally sighed, resolve restored as he charged in, attacking Broly from the side and laying a barrage of punches and kicks upon him, in tandem with the more aggressive Mira. Mira hadn't acted out or lashed out at him with any attacks, though he did glare, the… whatever he is had a poised focus on making sure his attacks landed on Broly then sending Trunks any glares. Trunks flashed forward, laying both hands upon his sword, removing it expertly from its sheath before bringing it down onto Broly's shoulder, slashing and hacking with reckless abandon, his sword barely put a dent in him, so he decided to sheath it back, attacking with more of his Ki-blasts. The warrior Mira, his intense black-blue aura engulfing him flared wildly while he rose a hand upwards, then his other hand as if to pull something apart, in the air a sphere of dark energy formed whilst expanding rapidly. Mira shouted loudly, a hateful glare at Broly, which it seemed was returned with one of his own, Broly looked like he was bracing himself while Mira shouted out a hoarse roar.
"I await the time I will strike you down Saiyan! To gaze upon your corpse as I sentence you to death, take this, my 'Negative Karma Ball' and despair!" he threw the large sphere forwards, Broly caught it with both hands as it was thrown quite close. The struggle, hearing as Mira continued to press downwards telepathically controlling his attack, while Broly, now landed on the ground and with vicious snarls leaving his mouth, held onto the sphere with wide-open palms, the ground underneath Broly shattered into pieces slowly from the force been arrayed against him.
'Damn, he seems like he doesn't need my help at all… can't forget Cell and this psychotic Saiyan bastard are immortal. Wait-' Trunks turned to Cell with wide eyes, then back at Broly. Trunks now realized what he was up against then, what he who had just joined and Kron and Mira who were already busy fighting here, on the same side and what kind of opponents they were.
'They both hold the blood of Saiyan's… Cell and Broly, they must have been beaten plenty of times by Kron, that guy is off the charts, a radical power… Not sure of this Mira guy though I've heard of and even witnessed him fight before… Even with 'Super Saiyan Primal' now in my arsenal, these guys must be getting stronger than even Kron or Mira, let alone myself.' Trunks thought, now knowing how outclassed he was even with his apparent boost in strength.
"You've gone silent boy, perhaps I can be of assistance…" the woman, appeared as if out of thin air, made him turn to focus on her face, the flashing light and noise of the struggle between Mira and Broly even now from where he floated was loud enough to drown out most sound.
"You see Mira there boy, I've been healing him whenever he's gotten low on reserves, it is one of my many… abilities afforded to my repertoire, you've given your all and while you've achieved that transformation, your nothing compared to my Mira or handsome over there-" she pointed with her staff, chuckling to herself at his confused stare, understanding dawned quickly she was indicating Kron. Towa continued, amused.
"Mira, I've been enhancing his energy- it usually costs me in energy though this bout, going on its forth day, has been a swell of energy I've been able to harvest for my own purpose, I also use it to enhance those I 'deem' worthy, just observe Mira." she sat on her staff then, floating there as she sat back while placing her right hand on her face to lean on a bit while she appeared bored, as if explaining this to him was tiresome.
"So how about it boy, should I increase your power, it won't be permanent though, but I added boost against these monsters should alleviate your… weakness." Trunks glared, annoyed by her tone, he turned eyes blinking before he blocked out the synthetic light of the energy, now full enveloped both Broly and Mira, within an explosion that could have ended the entire planet if Broly hadn't been standing in its path. He turned back to the smug grinning demon lady, replying after a moment of thought, having made his mind up.
"Do it, though don't expect me to be grateful or anything, we're allies… for the moment, I still don't trust you or that kingly brother of yours." he stressed, she nodded with a smirk, Towa brought her staff from under her and reached for it.
"Go ahead and fight Broly for now, I'll enhance your power when you've taken a beating for a while. You should have those magical beans, use them and get a bit stronger before even your new transformation becomes outclassed. Kek, Mira and Broly are renewing their brawl, while Cell and Kron are fighting with more skill, none of their attacks nor movements are wasted. Emulate them when you fight Trunks." She pulled another disappearing act, though Trunks realized she was watching from afar, her ability to stay hidden kept her from being killed by Cell or Broly as she acted as support.
(Kron-POV)
Cells increasingly more frequent taunting begun to sap at my nerves, getting me angrier. Indeed, this fucking insect bastard had me almost foaming at the mouth with his quips, his continued speech of his superiority and his 'unlimited potential' was starting to tick me off, I got a heavy does of it when my clone had finally dispelled. He seemed surprised, not to mention, downright mean when he realized he couldn't even beat up a clone, with half of my strength within him.
Evened up things I guess, getting him even madder was not an easy thing for he still felt he would eventually end up outclassing me at some point in which case he would be able to kill me, that or absorb me.
"The boy from the future… seems he's having a rough time, Kron. He's a waste of space, that lunatic Saiyan is going to tear both him and that blue goblin up real fast." Cell mocked once again, our battle with our swift melee battle, Cell getting in some hits though not as much as me. At this point I was still stronger than this insufferable annoying insect, though he was getting really close…
Mira looked to be doing most of the work against Broly, with Trunks trying to do damage, I'd most likely pushed Broly over any canon reference in terms of power, he continued to grow from every death drastically. He and Cell though hadn't died in over seventeen hours now, a clear indicator of where they were at now. I still had my scouter, the latest in advancement and could check at any time when I had enough breathing space to do so.
"Heh Heh, you know, I should really like to thank you my monkey friend… for your assistance in advancing my power via our battle to the death has been a real eye opener. You've also grown in strength at a steady rate, much like that lunatic muscle-bound idiot over yonder, it was an experience absorbing him as I have grown in strength quite intensely… I wonder would the same thing happen when I've finally overpowered you. Do not worry though my friend, you'll not go alone… Goku is still on my list, a kind of an offer to my creator. The good doctor had many things to say while we escaped from the pit-" I glared at him, though hearing of Doctor Gero of all things being also free sent a chill up my spine. He was no threat of course power-wise, though could that be still said when he takes everything into account, when he eventually creates another lab.
There is a silver lining, the man- android scientist didn't have any samples to create something like Cell here, the best he could do is spend his longevity making and setting up a lab, wherever that guy ends up in the universe.
Cell sneered, a smile creeping up on his face too as he added, looking to about to burst out in laughter.
"I doubt the good doctor would have any way of getting back home so your planet Earth-" he took an uppercut, his bent upwards in a position most others would have died from, he uttered through a muffled groan while he right his head.
"-He's out there in the galaxy by himself, I felt it prudent not to hang around with the fool, he's your eventual problem…" Cell grinned, flickering forwards whilst also quickly maneuvering his hands into that of the 'Kame Hame Wave', shouting loudly within punching distance of me.
"Kame Hame Haaaaaaaaaaaha!" he fired it, a great intensity for a quickly-charged beam, his beam I took a hold of with both hands to hold it at bay, before kicking upwards and flipped backwards whilst watching in glee when the beam was diverted upwards, Cell could be heard grunting as he still poured more Ki into the attack though he must have realized his blast was deflected when I appeared, offering my counterattack to his face. Knocking his head around with powerful punches and kicks, enhanced further with Ki, Cell gripped my wrists as he tried to stop me, though I broke out of his hold, instead grabbing his hands, fingers interlacing as we both squeezed for dominance. I swiftly dealt some knee blows to his abdomen, for which he too tried to do so, my own knees intercepting such blows while whenever I could reach, my tail would strike his legs through underneath my legs. Cell looked perturbed, for he too then used his own tail to greater effect, trying to stab me with its tipped blade, for which I used my eyes Ki-blasts to blast his face or whenever I could, his tail.
Cell grunted, anger smoldering on his face, trying once more and with greater effort to win the deadlock, our hands intertwined while fighting the other. The blows were loudly proclaimed at each strike, bursts of wind cracked through the sky at each blow delivered by one another, his teeth clenched tightly in his jaw as he growled loudly.
'Jaw.' I mentally thought, launching more eye beams, I reckoned I'd design a proper attack with them later in the future, but I forgot that I had another way to attack if that of my arms and legs were busy. I changed my Ki suddenly, reaching deep into my reserves, freshly renewed from a good bit of hours of sleep and my continuing climbing power from my mutation into a Saiyan of Legend, mutating the S-cells within. My power cackling with bursts of lighting, both randomly teetering over my form, the aura which whipped up in both shape and ferocity which Cell noticed straight away, as well as the environment around us. The whole planet was already suffering the occasional electrical storm, Volcanic activity continued to plague this now dying world though now from my powering up, which now Cell was matching with his own Ki, the electrical storms become much more frequent- borderline minutes between each lighting storm.
"What the hell are you doing with your mouth-" Cell began though quickly quietened up, I seen the sheen of golden-purple Ki shimmer in his eyes when I launched my mouthful Ki-beam from my throat straight into his face.
