Fang Hao and some others on the boat also directed their gazes towards them.
The whales seemed to notice Fang Hao watching them and excitedly surfaced; the younger whales even leapt high from the water, making ingratiating gestures.
Since their last taming, these whales had recognized Fang Hao.
